“Almost 100 years of Hotdogs!”
Reviewed 11 October 2013

Good hotdogs at a reasonable price. THe "sauce" was really good. Not a red sauce like I expected. If you live in South Carolina, tastes a lot like "Skins Hotdogs in Anderson.

“Great, hole in the wall, authentic restaurant.”
Reviewed 10 September 2013

The same family has been operating this very unique place since 1918. Gino is now the chef, manager. Fabulous wieners with chili and onion...each about $160. Fun atmosphere...one of those, at least t me, "must paces" to sample experiences.

“A Step Back In TIme”
Reviewed 3 September 2013

Step back in time to 1918, for an "Original" Coney Island style hot dog shop. Prices not exactly 1918, but are very reasonable, and the food is great!

“A must see place if in Cumberland”
Reviewed 29 August 2013 via mobile

I stop here every time I am in town. This place is authentic and special. It has old world charm. Check out the pictures on the walls. It has a ton of history and family pictures. The food is great and you will enjoy the atmosphere. Make sure you order a Weiner with sauce. The sauce is famous and a family secret. Oh- don't forget to get a milkshake!

“A must-visit when you're in town”
Reviewed 17 August 2013

Take a bite of history covered in sauce and onions! Hardly any restaurants have survived in downtown Cumberland but this one has. The hot dogs are small but covered in a unique blend of mustard, meat sauce and diced onions that makes for a perfect bite. The fries are nothing special but still make a great compliment to the dog. The chocolate rickey is a family favorite to drink!
