We have had brunch here multiple tmes , when in the area. Certainly one of the better restaurants, using fresh ingredients , well prepared food , and a full bar. Service once seated is friendly and efficient. However, weekend wait times can be over an hour , which is not acceptable to most people , and the singular reason we have not returned, They are in severe need of a reservation or call ahead service. Their current policy is just plain rude and worse in bad weather , when the waiting area is crowded,
By accident, while waiting , I noticed a restaurant across the parking lot , in an office building, called Xitomate. We walked over got seated immediately, the prices were cheaper ,better food, and prix fixe unlimited Bloody Mary's or Mimosas. Sweet!
Hello new brunch location! Thanks Octavio !

One of my good friends visited for the weekend so we went here for breakfast on Good Friday. Walked in around 9:30am and were seated right away. Request: 2 eggstravaganza's both with turkey sausage one w: eggs over hard other w: eggs scrambled with provolone cheese. French toasts were to die for!!!! Everything's came out fresh, exactly how we ordered, and perfect! Atmosphere was really chill not to busy and server and service were amazing! Will be returning often!!

My wife and I come here often for breakfast on the weekends. The food and specialty coffees are great. My only complaint are the hostesses. Although we've been here over 20 times, I could honestly say we've NEVER been properly greeted by the hostesses. They seldomly look you in the eye when you walk in, they're sometimes checking thier smart phones and often chatting with each other instead of greeting the customers. When they finally get around to you, the customer, they sit you down with their general lack of enthusiasm and blasé attitudes. Although this is a growing trend among today's youth, we occasionally are greeted properly at other establishmnets, just not this one, EVER. We've complained to the managers on at least 3 separate occasions, but nothing's changed. The hostess is usually the first face you see and sets the tone for the rest of your visit so don't you think they would train these kids properly? I must add that most of the waiters and waitresses are a lot nicer and make us feel welcome. If I didn't enjoy the food so much, I wouldn't come back, just because of the lousy hostesses.

This is a Canadian-owned "chain" restaurant, though the food does not shout "chain" at you. All the ingredients seem wonderfully fresh whether you are enjoying breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Their benedicts are luscious and the hollandaise is light and bright--very yummy. The salads are many and varied and those that we've tasted are quite good. We've not eaten many of the mains, but those that we've had have been quality. The only down side might be the noise level--the dining area is a high, open room and there doesn't seem to be a lot of noise absorbing going on. But that would be my only criticism. There are cheaper places in Ellicott City to have breakfast, but they're pretty run of the mill and this one stands above them.

Since this restaurant is in an "industrial" designed setting, it is quite loud. Not a great place for an intimate dinner, more for a casual/festive time. Delicious food; Wonderful bar; Outstanding desserts; Have fun! Avoid Sundays until after 2:00. Wait time can be VERY long!
