“Warm Welcome in West Wales”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 May 2014

We received a very warm welcome in this beautifully situated B&B. The room was comfortable, clean and had everything that we needed. The food was very good too. As bird lovers we especially enjoyed the red kite displays as well as sightings of many other birds. This was our first trip to this part of Wales and we felt well placed to visit many of the local attractions. The B&B could have been difficult to find but the directions on their website were very clear. We have already recommended this B&B to friends

Myself, partner and 6 month old Dalmation recently stayed at this B & B for 3 nights. We were made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much effort. Cathie and Suzie were very accomodating and tolerant of the dog ( she kept stealing their dog and cat's food) and were keen and welcoming in every way. We had access to the outside areas in addition to a lovely lounge and dining room to relax in, with real log fire and comfy sofas. A home away from home. Breakfast was lovely and we were catered for with evening meals. Very convienient and enjoyable. Lots of extra touches, which were appreciated. An example is a fridge outside your room to put anything you want in ( white wine). Tea and coffe making facilities in room and a massive selection of DVDs to watch on evenings after long walks.

lovely setting, very quiet and fabulous night skies.

Would recommend. well done to Cathie and Suzie.

A lovely B and B in a wonderful location. It really is a beautiful place to stay, we stayed for two nights, we were well looked after with food and drinks and our Rooms were absolutely beautiful, comfortable, clean, everything we could have wished for. We opted for a massage the second day which Cathie arranged for us! Would definitely recommend this, Carone did a fab job and we were both left very impressed and feeling relaxed for our drive home Sunday, can't wait to go back! Would recommend to anyone. Nothing was too much trouble.

We had the pleasure of staying here for one night as we were attending a Wedding in Lampeter.
Cathie was an excellent, friendly host, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The breakfast the nice morning was top drawer and set us up nicely for our journey home.
We would have no qualms recommending this B & B to anyone and would like to come back one day in the summer to take advantange of the stunning views and courtyside.

Cathie deserves every success with her new venture. We booked by phone and Cathie impressed us with her friendliness and enthusiasm that came over even down the phone line. We were not disappointed when we arrived. It was a feeling of being at home straight away. There were three delightful kittens playing in the sun at the front of the house. Our room was fresh and clean and well proportioned with a bright colourful decor. Our son and his fiance live in the area and they were also made welcome. We stayed for two nights and overslept both days (unlike me who is usually awake at just after 5am). we opted to have an evening meal with our son and fiancee cooked by Cathie. This was excellent home cooked food delivered in a quantity that would have fed twice our number! Cathie prides herself on catering to special dietary requirements - our party had citrus allergy, egg albumin intolerance, Crohns Disease and a diabetic. Cathie took this in her stride like the trooper she is! We look forward to staying again!

Room Tip: Leave the choice to Cathie

On Thursday last 1st of August I took my Blazing Saddles charity team to stay at Taincwm B&B,
we had just completed one of the legs of our charity cycle ride cycling from Great Yarmouth to St David,s and was looking forward to a shower and food. Well what can I say we where six adults and my two grandchildren, on arrival we where greeted by Cathie her daughter and a young waitress on her first night. We where showed round this fantastic B&B that was littered with art décor that was Cathie's own work along with the work of two friends every nook and cranny was spotless as was the bathrooms we was soon using to recuperate from our cycle. My two grandchildren was tucking into home made pizza within minutes and the Barbie we had requested was second to none everything was home made burgers Spanish omelette pasta and fresh salad and not forgetting the roasted veg. It was obvious that Cathie was not only a great artist but was also a fantastic cook. My wife Sam and I can not wait to go back to stay for a little longer hoping to take in one of Cathie's art class for me and aromatherapy for Sam.
See you soon Cathie.
