“Fun for all the family, wonderful place”
Reviewed 8 July 2014 via mobile

We visited Noah's ark as a birthday treat for our 1 year old daughter who is just showing a interest in animals.
We really enjoyed it and unlike some previous reviews only noticed one sign referring to Christianity and didn't feel at all bombarded with it.
The actual zoo is well laid out and the animals looked very well looked after, there is a lot to do here for older children the straw den and outdoor parks looked amazing fun, the gift shop was a tad expensive but then they always are.
I would recommend packing a picnic as there are some fantastic places to sit and eat.
It was £30 entrance for 2 adults which we thought was fair considering the variety of animals and activities on offer we preferred it to Bristol Zoo as you can get closer to the animals here and there is much more open space.
It will be lovely when the other elephants arrive on our visit there was only the one.
Can't wait to return when our daughter is a bit older.

“Excellent adventure”
Reviewed 8 July 2014 via mobile

This all day attraction was excellent. 4 adults and 1 child visited and took their time meandering around the large site. A lot of the farm animals are in pens but got exercised on a regular basis.

We witnessed cheeky little monkeys, lively lemurs, horses, goats, chickens, geese, 4 giraffes, an elephant (others will arrive after red tape), tigers, lions, rhino and more.

The animals are well looked after and the staff who undertook presentations concerning the farm animals and other wild life were exceptionally well informed.

The cafe was reasonably priced, (5 drinks £8.50) nothing stopping you take a picnic though.

The children's play areas were fantastic. The gift shop is small but has everything you would need. I'd suggest packing for rainy weather. If it does there is adequate locations you can shelter from. The cafe, the shop, the indoor kids play area and even the area that gives information about Noah's Ark and a model; which you to consider a creationist theory of earth but it's your choice to read it, nothings forced on you.

I personally found it thought provoking perhaps not for those with blinkered, closed or athiest views.

All in all. Excellent.

“Lots to do...”
Reviewed 7 July 2014

Took my 2 and half year old son here as his first trip to a Zoo.

Lots of animals and the whole place nicely laid out. Didnt feel rushed in any way and able to take things at our own pace.

Plenty of of other fun things for the kids to do as well such as a splash area, trampoline, soft play, organised events.

Was every busy with school trips but no queuing required. Decent fresh food served in the cafe as well with jackets and toasties available.

“Fab day out for the whole family”
Reviewed 5 July 2014 via mobile

Myself,my partner and our 4 children visited noah's ark during our holiday at burnham on sea. We had never been there before, and never actually heard of it but I have to say it really is a little gem worth discovering. There is so much to do there, we spent the whole day there only leaving as it was closing time. We saw the lions so close up, something that never happens at bristol zoo and they have large enclosures. The elephant eden enclosure is huge! There are picnic tables scattered everywhere and so many play areas for kids of all ages. The maze was brilliant, took us 45 minutes and the displays and educational side of it is very good. Yes there is a religious message there, hence the name noah's ark but that is no bad thing. The animals looked well cared for, the owner was extremely friendly. A lovely day out that I would certainly recommend.
