while the hotel is in a nice area, plenty of nice restaurants and shops in walking distance, and the rooms were average...my disappointment was with the front desk. We only stayed one night - being a Marriott rewards holder, i always book directly with their online site which has always honored any lower rate as noted on their site. I checked the current rate, and printed it out from their website on the day of our check in, however i did forget to confirm the rate at check in....however the morning we were going to check out i presented the print out and asked for them to honor the lower rate. After much back and forth the clerk realized that yes this was from their site and said would honor it, he said he made the adjustment and we were on our way....well much to my surprise when i saw the emailed portfolio and my credit card bill - he never made the change....poor customer service - dont say you are going to honor something, say you did and lie - not good form, very disappointed in marriott, not the customer service i have come to expect.
