Room is clean . The front desk service is excellent. The staff takes good care of customers. The Manager Timothy provides the best guest services. Price is always fair. The only flaw is not enough coffice in the morning. I will give 95 percent on this location.

Hotel's Favourite
Business travel can be so impersonal and cold when spending nights on the road but not at the Doubletree in Gaithersburg. I was warmly greeted by Timothy Anderson and he made me feel like I was staying at a friends home. He even remembered me the next day and chatted with me a bit. That made a huge difference to me. The room and hotel were great but the real value is in the personal interactions. It only takes a smile and a pleasant, sincere greeting to turn a dull business trip into a better experience. I highly recommend this property. Clean comfortable room and very quiet. Thank you Timothy! What happened to Rhonda Kyle? She was a gem too.

I am writing to commend Timothy Anderson, front desk manager. I booked a room at the Doubletree Hotel in Gaithersburg, MD after a water pipe in the neighborhood burst, leaving all of us w/o water. 2 hrs later, qfter WSSC came out and got the pipes fixed and the water and pipes were restored, I had already paid for the room thru a 3rd party and the 3rd party would not refund my money. When the Front Desk Manager began asking me questions about my stay, he graciously offered to refund my money because I no longer needed to stay over!!! And he did!! God bless this man for his kindness, his calmness, his caring. I highly recommend this hotel, the employees. L.D.

Staff is exceptional. $19 breakfast buffet was good with fresh fruit, steel-cut oatmeal, real scrambled eggs, and other regular continental breakfast offerings. Main issue was the broken elevators. 2 out of 3 were not working and the third was acting glitchy. We were in the 11th floor so…

I’m very disappointed in Hilton. I developed bed bug bites after a stay on December 22. I live 10 minutes away, this was just a mom’s night away for myself. I called as soon as I noticed the bites which was two days later. I was itchy before but didn’t look in a mirror at the bites until two days later. The first staff person I spoke to told me he would make a note and the manager would call me later that night. No call, so I called back the next day, spoke to someone at the front desk who rudely asked why I didn’t say anything when I checked out, and I told her I didn’t notice until later, she told me “well if it were bedbugs from here you would have noticed right away.” She also told me she would tell the manager to call me. I tried a third time later that night since no one has still returned my call (this was now 3 days after checking out) and finally got a manager, Timothy, who said he would check the room. He called me back half an hour later and told he checked the bed I stayed in and there were no signs of bed bugs and that no one else from that room had complained. He said he would have housekeeping do a more thorough check but he suggested I might have gotten the bed bugs from an Uber or car rental (none of which apply to me). I never once said anything about compensation or being upset , I felt it was my duty to tell them from a public health perspective (I’m a nurse practitioner) but I felt gaslit and blamed, not once did anyone say “sorry this happened to you” or give any possible explanation other than there’s no way I could have gotten it from the hotel. I understand how bed bugs spread but I live 10 minutes down the road, spent the night just to have a night away, no one in my house got bites, no signs of infestation at my house, I haven’t slept anywhere else in the past month, have no used furniture or clothes at my house, have not been near any animals or anything that could have fleas or other bugs that could confuse the bites. I heat treated/cleaned everything at my house just to be safe and am 100% sure they are not in my house. I went in person to the hotel one week later since no one had called me back and I was told the manager would be there that night. I spoke to Phillip, the front desk staff, who said there were notes in the computer that Timothy the manager would call me the next day. I showed him and the other lady working there the welts on my arm. Here I am 2 weeks after my stay with lingering bites, had to go to urgent care, pay a copay, get medication, urgent care agreed it was likely bed bug bites, and no one has returned my calls. I don’t think this situation was handled well, no matter what the source of the bed bugs or my rash is. I am a Hilton Honors member, my parents stay at this hotel every year when they visit for holidays, and the hotel has certainly lost us as customers. This is disappointing because everything else about my stay was great, they have a great pool, the rooms seem very clean.

Me and my family stay here in a suit and it was beautiful and great customer service! Room was clean look like it recently was remodeled. The bathroom was amazing. Nice shower they even gave us two free waters.

I recently stayed at a DoubleTree hotel and was left disappointed by the customer service and unexpected fees. One of the major letdowns was the lack of support through their app. The feature that allows messaging the front desk turned out to be ineffective, as my queries went unanswered. This lack of communication was frustrating, especially when I needed assistance. Moreover, I encountered hidden fees that weren't disclosed when I booked through Hilton.com. On querying these charges, I was told they were imposed by the hotel itself, not Hilton. This lack of transparency in pricing is misleading and unacceptable for guests who budget based on the booking site's information. For a brand that prides itself on customer service, this experience was underwhelming. The 'customer-first' approach seemed to be missing, making my stay less than satisfactory. It's unfortunate, as I expected better from a well-known hospitality name like DoubleTree."

I had a great time staying at this hotel. Francis Gomes was very helpful at making it a very hospitable experience. The front desk was very graceful at showing us our room, and my favorite part was receiving complementary warm cookies at the front desk. All the staff was warm and very attentive to any needs that we had during our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel was nice, clean and quiet. I had one issue but Mrs Lizeth Brown really helped me out. I hung one of my sweatsuits in the closet and forgot to pack it. Called the hotel spoke to Mrs Brown and she really helped me out by getting my suit and mailed it back to me. Very very thankful for that. 😉. Overall experience it was a really good stay
