We rented the entire campsite in early August 2013 for my son’s wedding from Friday to Sunday. This was quite an undertaking since the majority of the wedding party, including the bride and groom, lived in states that required at least a full day of travel to reach the D.C. area. The staff cooperated with us every step of the way, allowing us to visit and inspect the camp on several occasions, even when the campsite was full. Louise and her staff answered our emails immediately and in detail, so when the time came to set up, we were as organized as we could possibly be considering the circumstances. The staff was very experienced in weekend venues and quietly guided us to better solutions as we insanely unloaded trailers for the long weekend. They were readily available throughout our stay to help with unexpected requirements. All the facilities, from the tree houses and cabins, to the showers and bathrooms, were clean and more than adequate for our guests comfort. It was a perfect weekend for my son and daughter-in-law, and all the family and friends that joined us, and it seems saying thank you to Louise and her staff falls short of expressing how much we appreciated their assistance, and the campsite, that provided a most memorable wedding.
