I come here sometimes to get cheap food done fairly well. I mean two people eat for about $27.00 with tax & tip included, (non-alchoholic drinks of course). Thats decent.
But, the service continues and probably will always continue to be the problem. You get served your entrees. After which 30 minutes or more passed before I saw my server again. In those 30 minutes, we needed extra napkins which we never got, we needed drink re-fills (I had a beer that sat empty for 20 mins, thats their lousy service losing revue for them), and last but not least, we needed the check so we could leave. Felt like we were being held prisoner. And it did cross my mind to just walk out without paying. Would never do so, but this kind of service makes you think of half-brained ideas.
Not asking to refill alocholic drinks (which make them money) or to asking if we want dessert (which makes them money) is like being happy with the minimum business from a customer. The minimum is what I guess they get from every customer.
i.e. - You have a check paid for $27.00, but if your service was better, the restaurant may have made double that in drink and dessert orders. Not to mention increasing the tip amount for the waiters. THEY JUST DONT SEE THAT. Sad. I come here very infrequenctly anymore. NOTE: If you do, get extra napkins and order drinks waaaaaay ahead of completing the ones you have. You may never see the waiter again.
