I can't say enough wonderful things about this hotel, it has all the things most people want in a
Perfect hotel ! First, it's right on the water, and all rooms have water views so you get that " at the
shore" experience without paying the outrageous " shore" rates. Seriously, I couldn't believe how
low the room rates are here for such a luxurious room. We went on a summer weekend, Friday and Saturday nights, and booked the best room, a top floor one bedroom suite, which has the best
front facing water views and also side windows facing the sunset ! The price for the suite was only
$10 more than the junior suites, and is totally worth it for the extra room and pluses that come with this awesome suite. From what I can see, all the rooms are very nice, are roomy and ultra clean,
And even the least expensive rooms still have water views from their very nice balconies. The
Junior Suites have nice water views, and are the same size as the one bedroom suites- the main
differences from the Junior Suite and the One Bedroom Suite is that the Junior Suite has a
"Half Wall" between the bedroom and the living room area, whereas the One Bedroom Suite has
French Doors with sheer lace curtains. The One Bedroom Suites are located on the corners of
the hotel facing the water, so they get both the front water view from the living room and 2 or 3
very nice water views out the side corner wall. We had awesome sunset views out these side
windows. OK, now, this is important: I would suggest you request a room on the East or Marina
side of the hotel, or the east corner suite if getting the one bedroom suite. Here is an important
reason why, that no other reviewers have mentioned. The rooms on the West side, or side facing
The Jetty dockside restaurant and bar, get a bad odor on the balconies. This is from the massive
dumpster area from The Jetty which is located right below the windows and balconies of the West
side hotel rooms. Our suite was on the 4th floor ( of 5 floors) facing the Jetty on the west side
corner, and while it was awesome, with great sunset views, the smell of trash from The Jetty
was pretty sickening and kept us off the balcony. I wasn't disturbed by the noise of live music
and revelers from The Jetty, unlike other reviewers, I found the 4 th floor suite to be nice and quiet.
Also, The air conditioning works great, we were nice and cool. I would suggest you request an
Upper floor on the Marina side or East side corner to be away from the Jetty's trash dumpsters.
Otherwise, this hotel is perfection, the room has 2 TVs in the suite, a huge deluxe bathroom with
Neutrogena amenities, large closet, plenty of room for suitcases, etc., refrigerator, microwave,
Kuerig Coffee and Tea maker, great sofa and chairs, desk, lighting, and best of all-lots of handy
electrical outlets and Wifi. Perfect hotel stay ! The service was wonderful and housekeeping was
very thorough, everything immaculate with lots of towels and generous amounts of anything
you could want. The pool and jacuzzi face the water and the walls are glass, very pretty, so you
can soak in the hot tub in the early morning and watch all the boats sailing by.
One of the best perks is that this Hilton is within steps of many great dockside restaurants and
bars, all of which face sunset and put on a wonderful sunset celebration with really good live
music. The Jetty serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, and has many lovely Yachts coming and going, great for people watching, music listening, drinking, eating, and hanging out. There is
ample shade and the servers were so nice and attentive. The Bridges restaurant is steps away
also, with a fabulous sunset celebration, inside and outside seating, acoustical live music, and
Delicious chef prepared gourmet meals ! I recommend this highly. There are more restaurants
and bars, so your stay here is covered for total fun and relaxation. Parking is free ! No resort
fee ! The hotel has breakfast and dinner too and a lounge bar, but we didn't try this. There are
free coffee, tea, and water, cookies, newspapers in the lobby and more- seriously, this place
is perfect ! The only 2 things I wished for that would have made it better would have been to have safes in the rooms, and to have A/C vents in the bathroom. These are small things that I can live
without. I can't wait to return ! We had so much fun. Also, I forgot to mention how wonderful the beds and linens are- best sleep ever ! Another good restaurant we tried was The Narrows, a
waterfront institution famous for its Crabcakes and Cream of Crab Soup. This place is very nice,
and has a wonderful menu, make sure to make a reservation, it is popular !
So, if you want a fun stay near Annapolis, without the parking hassles and high rates, try Kent Island, the Kent Narrows, and the delightful stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. Fishing boats leave from
here too, so there is much to see and do !

Room Tip: Request upper floor on East Marina side, the one bedroom and junior suites are wonderful !

We stayed here after our wedding- BEST choice on Kent Island. Beautiful king suite overlooking the bay. Excellent Breakfast the next morning in the lobby. The only problem was the noise- a beach side bar is located right next to the hotel, and we could hear loud music up till 12am. However, the noise didn't bother us that much. And thumbs up for the beach bar for some fun the next night! Overall excellent staff and great location.

I stayed at this hotel for my son's wedding. The hotel was completely booked with other wedding parties and meetings. The staff remained extremely gracious and helpful no matter what the time of day and always greeted us when entering the lobby. The rooms were very clean and comfortable as well as the grounds.
