Antetiam recreation is a diverse family run organization that not only provides an outdoor camp for kids during the summer but also has various live dinner shows during the year. Our boys have been going there for years and love every minute of it. They go to camp eager and come home muddied and exhausted. The boys play capture the flag in the woods, kayak, canoe, swim and can go horseback riding. The kids also develop character and the value of helping others. The cowboy dinner shows are really worth seeing too. Overall, this is a high quality establishment that teaches kids more than just sports.

“Cowboy Christmas - great family fun!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 December 2011

We took our 3 grandsons to the Cowboy Christmas at Antetiam Recreation. What a great evening! The evening began with an hour of adventures fit for "children" of all ages - a petting zoo with manger animals, horseback ride, family photos, wagon ride with a bandit attack (the children were given styrofoam snowballs to defend the wagon), and a marshmallow roast. Then came a plated dinner - there is a separate menu for children and adults. This was followed by a great cowboy and musical presenation which was truly amazing with talented marksmen and singers. Best money we ever spent - our grandsons are already making plans for next year!
