“A Nice Local Art Museum”
Reviewed 30 July 2013

This art museum is a nice place to spend a few hours admiring both local art as well as some nationally ranked pieces. They had an outstanding Civil War presentation this year to celebrate the 150th anniversary of local battles at Antietam and Gettysburg.

“I like to visit museums!”
Reviewed 30 July 2013

We really enjoyed this visit to the museum, I just looked on Internet places to visit and when I found this museum I thought that is going to be nice to visit. My daughters 4 and 6 years old really enjoyed and could take art classes. They have art classes for kids on Saturdays. It was the best choice to sped these day.

Enjoy the museum at a slow pace so you do not miss anything. The artwork is enjoyable to see and the exhibits are nice to enjoy too. The park is also a pleasant place to enjoy.

“Quality museum hidden in small town”
Reviewed 29 July 2013

Visitors to Hagerstown will be shocked to find a quality museum of this type in such a small city. It's located in the middle of the city's beautiful park, in a charming old building next to the park's lake. The artwork and sculptures exceeded my expectations, and the Civil War exhibit was first rate. All this and admission is FREE. If you're in Hagerstown, don't miss it!
