Good food and libations are the order of the day at the Triangle Tavern. Very close to the Canal and Railtrail. Serves lunch and dinner. Separate dining room from the lounge. Colorful characters and good company to share trail tales!

Triangle Restaurant is a complete place. There is a dining area, with a newly painted, fresh, attractive mural wall, and a bar in a separate room, with affordably priced drinks. This is a true, locals place, and you will find it easy to socialize with the locals at the bar, if you like to meet local people. The clientele is friendly and will welcome you, as will the staff.

Stephanie provided our service this visit, and she is always friendly, fast, and attentive. We had a group dinner on a bicycle tour, and as such, had a hungry group. Food was attractive, plentiful in portions, and with the variety needed for meat and vegetarian eaters.

On this particular visit, where we had 12 people, another group of about 16 (also a cycling group) was also in the restaurant, and all ran smoothly during this busy time. We like the local nature of the place, and the people, and we think you will too.

The only place in Hancock that serves food and alcohol, good start. The place is dark, dingy and depressing looking but the staff were really friendly, helpful and bubbly, so don't judge a book by the cover, maybe it's typical small town stuff. The food was fresh and of average quality but perfectly adequate after a day cycling.

The staff certain.y made up for the lack of atmosphere with their friendly manner, well worth a visit if in the area.

I rated this average because we didn't actually eat here so can't judge the food. Came in at lunchtime Friday. The bar was busy but no one in the restaurant. After waiting a little while and no one came to serve us we gratefully left. The place is very dark and hasn't been changed for 50 years. I would be scared to see it under bright lights. Had a very good meal across the street at Park and Eat. Who would have thought!

Had dinner here after biking on the C&O canal and wanted an establishment that served liquor. It's not an easy walk, but worth the trip. The beer and cocktails hit the spot after a long bike ride. But, more importantly, the food was very good. The crab cakes were outstanding and a must have! The seafood combo was also very good. While the waitress stated they were known for their steaks, they were just "ok." This is a small, "country" restaurant, so adjust your expectations and you'll thoroughly enjoy. The service was friendly and quick and the cost was affordable.
