“Excellent breakfast”
Reviewed 5 July 2013

Stopped by the Bridge Diner after travelling overnight from Michigan. The waitress was friendly and brought the coffee very fast. The children's breakfast with johnny cakes was a hit with our 2 year old who ignored his eggs (he loves eggs normally) and went for all of his other yummies. The creamed chip beef on biscuits was plentiful and tasty as was the scrambled egg breakfast. Very friendly people, seems like the locals hang out there. It's a small place and we could see it being packed during peak hours; but as we were there at 7am on July 4, not too crowded. I thought that finding it might be tricky as we never got a street address, but getting there was easy once I located it with google maps on my phone; basically, its at the intersection of US40 and Ostego Street. Would definitely recommend for a good breakfast.

“Great little diner in Havre de Grace”
Reviewed 8 June 2013

The bridge diner looks like a dump but it is a great greasy spoon to have a great breakfast in Havre de Grace. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a real home cooked breakfast. Not fancy but good food.

“1930's Diner retains much of historic character”
Reviewed 5 February 2013

A lot of great original detail despite several renovations. Interior has original floor tile, stools, curved roof with old mural at each end. Mural is rumored to have been painted in the 1950's by a homeless man in exchange for food. 1934 Silk City manufacturer. There are fewer and fewer of these around. Ignore any bad reviews going back more than a year since ownership changed hands. I enjoyed my breakfast and hope to go back soon for other meals. The burger ordered by a nearby customer looked thick, hand formed and juicy. Now, do not compare 5 stars for an old diner with 5 stars for a modern restaurant. It is what it is supposed to be.
