“Best Residence Inn I have ever stayed at!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 January 2011

Spent just about a week at this hotel for a house-hunting trip tied to a job relocation. The hotel seems brand new and is immaculate. Free laundry service, an indoor pool, great exercise room, and an outgoing, friendly staff - from the gereral manager to the housekeeper. Although a little north of the city, easy access to major insterstates is nearby. There's also a nice shopping center (including a great Wegman;s) just a block away. Restaurants and a movie theater make the location almost ideal.

This hotel is FANTASTIC! I only stayed one night but as a frequent business traveler I will look for this chain again. It would be ideal for an extended business trip. Full kitchen with stove top, full size refrigerator, toaster, microwave, kitchen table. Nice living area so you don’t have to sit in an uncomfortable hotel room chair or lay in bed watching tv. Great work space. CLEAN, clean, clean! Very nice common areas with an outside fire pit, gas grill guest can use. Adequate breakfast, nothing special but not bad at all. Some nights they even serve free dinner. Beautiful pool area and fitness center.
There are plenty of restaurants close by. Not walking distance, but the hotel van will take you to them if you do not have a car.
The only thing I did not like (I didn’t really dislike, just noting) about the place is that the bed was not as comfortable as most Marriott beds. It was not bad, but most other Marriott’s have softer beds.
I highly recommend this hotel.

As the other reviewers have said, this is a great hotel. Large clean bedrooms, easy parking, pool and complimentary breakfast are all positives. Negatives are a lack of a bar, meaning evenings are not very sociable, and the location is not close to many attractions. Very good family option.

I stayed here at the end of July for a girlfriend's wedding. It was new and gorgeous! My room was like a little apartment and had everything I could have asked for. Service was excellent also.

I stayed here for a business meeting in September and couldn't have been more pleased. The entire experience from check-in to checkout was commendable. The general manager was even nice enough to walk me to my car in the pouring rain since I didn't have an umbrella. Now that's service!

The property is new, and definitely reflects that. My room (a King studio) was very well decorated and as clean as one would expect. The work area was spacious and had plenty of outlets. The bed was very comfortable and I was asleep within minutes.

My only regret is that I wasn't able to spend more time here. When I'm in the area again (in another few months), I'll definitely be back.

This hotel has a great staff. Everyone we encountered ,including the cleaning staff, was courteous, would address any question, and was always smiling. I would like to pay particular note to the general manager, Ely, and to Joe. Ely goes above and beyond what one would usually expect from a general manager. He is out front so often we wondered when he had time to do his paperwork. He bends over backwards to ensure that the guest is happy even if it means heating up their hot dog bun and has poise and maturity way beyond his years. Joe, on the days he is at the hotel, is the go to guy. He is always happy and smiling, has a terrific sense of humor, and also goes out of his way to ensure the comfort of the guest and will do anything for the guest within his realm. The people who man the front desk are just as helpful and courteous. As the other guest have commented, this hotel is immaculate. I looked for dust bunnies in the corners like you see at most hotels but the cleaning staff is thorough because there were none. The public and outside areas of the hotel are kept just as clean and the firepit was an added plus. They have a wide array of breakfast choices. This hotel has high capacity and it is easy to see why. I highly recommend.

This is a new hotel (opened in December 2009) and it looks like there's been almost no wear. Like most new hotels, it has a modern, crisp design, which I found to be attractive. The room was the most spacious of recent Residence Inns ( those were not acceptable for 3) and this time one could get to the bathroom at night with little difficulty when the sofa bed was out. It had a big 50” LCD TV. The fit and finish of construction was very good. Everything was immaculate, including the bathroom ( as well as the common areas of the hotel ). The beds and bedding were comfy. Breakfast was very good. The eggs were fresh and cooked well. They had waffles. One day they had good french toast. This is unusual as most of the time it is neither fresh nor tasty. Theirs were both. The same could be said for the excellent fruit salad. Unlike some hotels, they kept stocking whatever was missing on a continuous basis, particularly if you pointed out that an item was out. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The location is very good, being close to the excellent Hunt Valley Towne Center shopping center. We really appreciated the Wegman's supermarket, our favorite. They also have a movie theater there, which we may avail ourselves of the next time we visit. The price, at $127, was reasonable. In short, there is nothing negative to report ( that's unusual for me ) and much to like here. It's almost a sure thing that if we come back to the area, this will be where we will stay.
