After a show in DC we went in for dinner around 11:00. The place was busy and the full menu was available. The service was a bit slow but friendly. The food was plentiful and tasty. Plenty of parking nearby. Try the meatloaf!

I went for lunch. The nachos were the best ever and I was pleased to see a wide selection of gluten free meals. The atmosphere was open and had interesting art work and books to read. I intend to go back during the poetry shows.

B and P is worth a visit I have been there twice. The food is better than good and there is added fun in the neighborhood mix of art space and meeting place. It is a great setting for meetings and for seeing what is going on in the local environ, and that works. Tonight there were about ten local artist displaying their work and it was worth seeing.

The dishes are sometimes very good and sometimes good. Shrimps and Grits was very good and so was the wine. The pizza is Roman thin and part of very good. The Catfish and salads were just good.

Other people have reported a, terribly long wait, but I had none of that. Maybe, I was just lucky.

I am going to recommend it for meetings to coworkers and hold our next fun meeting there. Give it a try.

quiet an experience to visit. The book store upfront is somewhat out of the Sovjet era :-) but that just adds to the ambiance. The food and drink is great, service is friendly and helpful - not hurried. All around a great place to hang out.

As someone who has lots of food sensitivities, this place is heaven. Vegan nachos for someone who can't have regular cheese is terrific! They have gluten free options as well for various dishes. Service is a bit slow, but very friendly. It's so wonderful to see old Hyattsville come back to life with such amazing restaurants as this.
