This is a follow up to my review last December. I was back in the area and decided to give the place another shot. I found no changes to what I experienced the first time... still pretty nice rooms with newer furniture and a great TV channel selection. But still no mini-fridge, microwave, shuttle service, free breakfast etc.
And despite the manager, Mr. Warner, responding here on this site specifically to my complaint last time of no elite recognition, there was again no elite recognition, arrival amenity, room upgrade, nor even mention of status when I checked in. This might not matter to most guests, but to those of us that stay at Holiday Inns dozens of nights each year, this matters a lot.
So again just as last time, I feel that this Holiday Inn is not terrible, but it is definitely on the lower end of comparable hotels that I've stayed at and it has a long ways to go before I would raise the rating above 'Average'.More
