Hotel needed a facelift and it was undergoing one when we stayed here. We were disappointed to learn the outdoor pool was "Closed for the Season" and the fitness center was closed due to renovations. One of the lobby rest rooms was also closed. Too bad we were not informed of this when we reserved the room. The breakfast was fine and the room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Will find another place next time we pass through.

Stayed here for business and it is true there is some construction going on on the property.
Was greeted very professionally and informed there were some fresh cookies available, nice touch.
You can tell that the Hampton was needing some updating, which it seems they are working on.
The area isn't the nicest as it seems tucked back in a semi business area but it is quiet.
If you are looking for a place as a base to do things in DC I would get something closer to the metro. BUT you get what you pay for here and will pay more if move closer to DC.
Restaurants in the area but nothing real close, must drive.
Breakfast is a typical Hampton Inn breakfast which is nice that you don't have to go looking for a meal in the a.m.
One complaint is that housekeeping and some construction workers are VERY quick to try to enter the room after knocking.. ALWAYS put the extra latch in place!

Room Tip: If traveling in May or June... ask for a room away for remodeling!

This hotel is a good value for travelers. The room is clean the staff is friendly and the breakfast is good. The bed was great no noise heard and we slept like babies. I wish the towels were a little bit higher quality but at least they were clean. I will stay here again if ever in the area and I would highly recommend this hotel...

TV was not plugged in and major networks were not available once the TV was operational. Bathroom sink was piped backward and hot and cold were reversed. Could have been a safety problem for some. To their credit they offered to change my room but I was only staying for one night so lived with the problem. No offer was made or other accommodation to compensate for the problems.

Stayed in a king suite which was recently renovated. The staff was friendly, and it appears that most of the hotel has been recently renovated. The carpet in the hallways was very new and you could still smell the adhesive, but I could not notice the smell at all in my room. There are many restaurants within walking distance. It's a short drive to the Greenbelt Metro station to get in to D.C. Overall it was a great stay.
