My wife and I would like to call attention to the most excellent and professional service that was rendered this week from the General Manager, Emil Debsia, at the Sheraton BWI Airport hotel. As the mid-Atlantic region, particularly the Washington and Baltimore area was hit by a freak electrical, very high wind storm and dangerously high temperatures, hundreds of thousands were left without power, cable and water. This clearly lead for a rush for any available hotel space that still had power. After making an urgent reservation at an adjacent hotel with a lobby overflowing with people waiting for any available rooms, and having to wait numerous hours for service, Mr Debsia, who was trying to help them out, came into the lobby to say he still had five rooms left at the Sheraton BWI. We jumped at the chance, he honored our other rate, and he promptly arranged an excellent room. The overall service at the Sheraton was excellent, desk clerk Yolanda was most cordial, and despite being 100% occupied, the hotel was extremely quiet, cool and clean, with excellent housekeeping personnel.
Would recommend the Sheraton BWI highly and commend Mr Debsia for his excellent professional service, which should be a model for all.More
