I believe that G&M has the very best crab cakes that I have ever eaten so I have eaten them more than dozen times. Keep in mind, I do not live in the Baltimore-Washington area. However, whenever travel has taken me there, I make time for lushious and very large lump meat crab cakes or flounder stuffed with crab meat. The crab meat is always large pieces of lump crab meat, and the servings are plentiful. Most people can only eat one at a sitting so they opt for the one crab cake plate or the sandwich (crab cake is the same size on both).
There is plenty of parking, but don't be surprised if the empty spaces are rare at lunch OR dinner. The location is only a few miles from BWI and less than half an hour from Baltimore. The crab cakes themselves have made it to the White House.
Plenty of other items on the menu, but why would you care? The deserts are impressive but so large, they must be shared or taken back to the hotel.
Once you have eaten crab cakes here, you will be like many of us and AVOID having them anywhere outside of Maryland.
