Best Western North East Inn

I was attending a Ritchie Brothers auction and they recommended The Best Western in their guide so I tried it. I arrived late due to business reasons but they held my room even though I am a cash customer. The room was spacious and clean and right on the main highway. The staff was very friendly. The TV remote didn't work because the batteries were dead but I was too tired to care. Breakfast in the morning is modest with base coffee and rolls and cold cereal. I will stay here again if I have to, but the price is a little high for the value they provide. The folks at the auction told me later that the prices are always higher during the auction weeks.

We booked a room at Best Western, North East because we were in town for a wedding and this particular hotel offered a group rate.

It wasn't bad!

The room was very clean and spacious.

The bathroom was bigger than the bathroom I had when I stayed at the Hilton New York, so that was a major plus! =)

The view was...well...the hotel is next to the highway, so there isn't really a view.

I enjoyed the stay but wish their continental breakfast was a little more.....diverse. All they had were bagels, muffins, waffles and cereal. There was no fruit (I found that very unusual for a continental breakfast) and my husband said the orange juice was very bad.

Great hotel....not so great breakfast.
