“Fun lunch spot at Deep Creek!”
Reviewed 7 August 2014

Enjoy a lunch at Dutch's when in Deep Creek! Located off the main busy area of Rt 219, upscale restaurant. Deck has lots of tables with umbrellas. Crab cakes are delicious! Good service by very efficient staff. Live afternoon band on Saturdays.

“Dine at great expense”
Reviewed 6 August 2014

Dutch's has an old rustic feel with a lot of dark wood, a gorgeous bar with stained glass surround, and a partial view of the lake (through the trees). It could use an update in interior decor. The food was good, but very expensive; I had the filet which was $38. It was cooked to order, but I have had more flavorful filets. We went on a Sunday and ordered a bottle of wine, which the waitress told us she would be able to bring to us AFTER we ordered our meal ~ come to find out the entire county is "dry" on Sundays. You can't buy any alcohol anywhere, and it's a county ordinance that you have to order a meal if you are to be served any alcohol. We probably wouldn't go back because of the prices.

“Eating good food is not 'work'”
Reviewed 4 August 2014

"Are you still working on that?" is not something you should hear from the server in a place at this price point. On the plus side, the food was well cooked.

“Good food friendly service”
Reviewed 3 August 2014 via mobile

We were a walk in on a Wednesday night at 6:30 and got a table right away. This place was recommended to us from one of locals we met she told us it was as pricey but the seafood was fresh and good and she was right. We ordered the shrimp cocktail and fried calamari as appetizers both were great plenty of calamari to share. I had the broiled seafood platter and grandma and grandson split there own seafood platter both were the same shrimp, scallops, two types of crab-cakes and a twice baked potato only they had lobster with there's. Each meal also came with 4 choices of sauce butter, tarter, dill, marinara. GF ordered the marinaded chicken with cheese and asparagus. Each meal came with salads, I was the only one who had a cocktail. We thought the food and service was great and the price reasonable for the quality of food we were served it was fresh and delicious. We even had some leftovers. I would defiantly go back here if I return the Deep Creek Lake area. Price for our meal with tip was $215

“Recommendation -- Sit at the bar!”
Reviewed 31 July 2014

We had a very pleasant evening at Dutch's. We opted to sit at the bar, and we were not disappointed. The service was excellent, and husband was able to watch baseball! My husband is on a low salt diet and they were very accommodating. I had the french onion soup and crab imperial toast appetizer and was stuffed! He had the salmon and it was excellent.

Overall, we would return.
