Ok, so we all know that Ocean City is full of, well, crap food. So, as we are driving up Coastal Highway looking for something good to eat, we see the adorable awnings on Lizzie's and after a quick stop at Shell City (LOVE IT) we went to Lizzie's. Quirky? yes. Small? yes. Friendly? very yes. Good food? oh, hell yes.
First, we ordered the crabchetta- as my 8 year old described them "Lumps of crab heaven on bread". They aren't cheap for an appetizer, but when you get it you see why. PILES of crab on baguettes.... and really good. Pizza is AMAZING. unbelievable crust. Salad- Tasted like I just got it out of my garden. Get the Blue Cheese Dressing- amazing. Hot Turkey Sandwich???? Perfect food after being tossed around in the waves all day. Great oatmeal raisin cookies. Cathy, Lizzie's mom is there- she is very friendly. Our waiter was super nice too- young man from Moldova (Danu?). Chef came out and talked to us- Great food- GO GO GO.
