“Expensive but convenient and clean”
Reviewed 3 September 2013

The extra charge per night per child makes it expensive for our large family to stay here, we may as well get a hotel in the city. The kids like the water park, for one or two afternoons. The bus to the beach is very convenient and removes the need for an extra vehicle (we have an RV). THe bathrooms are clean, but crowded, as are the campsites-very close together. I guess that's the fad these days, but we prefer to frequent campgrounds with larger sites. The deli made decent food at a decent price and the camp store offered plenty.

“A Bit of the Wild, Wild West”
Reviewed 3 September 2013

This is a fun place to spend a day, not just an hour or two. There's much to see and do: gun fights, can-can shows, train rides, stage coach rides, pony rides, Indian dancing and so on. The staff is friendly and the actors are energetic (even though we visited late in the season). The train and stage coach rides include mock holdups, but frightened the younger children.

“Best bang for your buck in O.C.”
Reviewed 31 August 2013

We brought our children, ages 7 and 4 to the Water Park as a reward for doing 100 chores over the summer. They had begged us to go back to Hershey Park as we went in May and the water park was not opened yet. Not wanting to spend $200+ to get into Hershey, we decided since we had plans to go to Ocean City Labor Day weekend, that we would give Frontiertown a try. It only cost us $36 to get in (they didn't charge us for the 4 year old, plus we had $2 off coupons). My 7 year old loved all the water slides and the lazy river. We thought my 4 year old would love the large kiddie pool which is 1 1/2 feet deep with small slides and fountains. However, it was a bit crowded and she was a little intimidated by the older kids. I wish they had a pool for the older kids, and that this pool was strickly for the younger ones. That being said I was really surprised that she loved the Lazy River. In fact the whole family loved the lazy river. However, it was quite crowded (my husband called it the Lazy Highway) but we expected it given it was Saturday of Labor Day weekend. We came at 10:30 am and stayed until 3:30 am. Go early or late to get a chair. I would advise either going right when it opens, or waiting until 3 pm, as it starts to clear out. The staff were very friendly and the facilities were clean. We'll definitely be back, and may even try the Western Town the next time. Lastly, there was a large stagecoach bouncehouse near the ropes course, which was free. My little one enjoyed this as well, while big sister rode the water slides. And one more thing, they do let you bring in food a drink to the water park, just no glass or alcohol, although they do sell alcohol.

“Family fun”
Reviewed 31 August 2013

The staff was very friendly and appeared to enjoy their role playing jobs. They joked with my young kids and threw in some zingers that only the adults would get too. A good reasonably priced way to spend an afternoon.

“Disappointed in campground. Western park and Water park are good.”
Reviewed 28 August 2013

Trip Advisor has added an option for the campground part of Frontier Town so check there if you are looking to camp. Most reviews seem to be here and since we did use the theme park and water park I will also post my review here.
