I stayed here for the 1/2 marathon and was pleasantly surprised. Bedding a furniture were updated although the sheets were a little rough, but I expected this for a beach hotel.the bathroom fixtures could use some updating but the towels were soft and the water temperature and pressure were great. The staff were all extremely helpful in recommending places to eat and even asked me how the 1/2 went. The roof deck was awesome and all rooms have balconies. I also didn't realize that we were going to have a microwave, sink(aside from the one in the bathroom), and fridge so that was great. My only critique would be that I saw there was a top of a to go ketchup container behind the trash when we arrived. Besides that everything was great and this was cheaper than many hotels that were not as nice.

My family and I stayed here for a long weekend. The hotel is in a great location close to all the attractions and boardwalk. We didn't have to drive anywhere all weekend long!

The room we stayed in was a good size and clean! The bathroom was great but could have used a new light bulb as the lighting was dim. The balcony had an amazing view of all of Ocean City and the beach.

We will be staying at this hotel again!

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice and the Jacuzzi tub was awesome. Very close to the boardwalk and activities.Our fridge wasn't working and they quickly replaced it.We'd definitely stay again.

We have stayed at the suites in 2009,2010,2011, and 2012 . The first few years were nice it was still new. Only complaint at first was the very cold pool. The last year we stayed there our first day was unforgetable. We walked in and the toilet was backed up. It was 5 hours before it got fixed. Then we had no screen door. We were supposed to get one the next day but.... nice being on vacation and having to keep door shut. The window were filthy. The assist manager Stephanie (I think that is correct name) who was very nice came in and stood there while they were cleaned and apologized. We requested the manager call us but that never happend. After many calls to Don and no return call I was told by the staff to stay at the main hotel. I was told it was great and I would never regret! Why did I listen. Gave another chance in 2013 and never again. Great location but not worth the dirty bathtub, microwave, stained bedding and broken tv (that was replaced asap). I cannot wait to hit OC again but I am on here looking for a quality stay.

In response to this review , I can honestly say in my 10 years as General Manager we have never had any back up in room to which is referred to in this review. Unfortunately the General Manager of the Hotel is not available to be at front desk to talk to each and every guest. Why it would be absolutely great to be able to do this and greet each one of my guest , my job is to ensure the smooth operation so that each and every guest enjoy their stay. Almost all of this work is done behind the scene. As such, we employ year round managers at our front desk who's only purpose is to ensure customer satisfaction. There will be times that no matter what resolution is offered nothing short of a free stay is acceptable. Unlike larger franchise owned hotels who throw money at the guest when there is an issue we want to take care of the issue and take steps before guest arrival so there are no issues while at hotel. I am sorry to hear guest did not enjoy all the many amenities we offer for the price we charge. You will be hard pressed to find one property that offers all we do for the rates we charge. Most hotels that offer all we offer charge double what our rates are. We pride ourselves in being a family owned and operated establishment and being able to offer a more one on one customer service experience often over looked at larger hotels. We thank this guest for this review as it will help us improve upon training of future management. This season we will be offering an entirely new housekeeping dept. that will be able to keep up with the demand of one of Ocean City's Busiest and most dynamic hotels.

Stayed here for three nights in June 2013 for the Sand Duels Soccer Tournament. The rooms we had were along the front of the hotel along the main drag. It was NOISY! It was also senior week so expect alot of drunk teenagers out all night. The hotel was ok. Parking wasn't the easiest however nothing at that end of town is. The hotel was clean but nothing to rave about. The roof top pool was a nice feature however it was cold. The hot tub was nice, but over chlorinated to the point of sickening smell. Parents stayed at the Breakers which was MUCH nicer but more expensive. I would return here if I could guarantee a room NOT along the main drag in the front. Too noisy to sleep. There is no breakfast and only one elevator up to the hotel. This made getting to your room a challenge. There is a subway next to the office on the ground floor.

Room Tip: Stay away from the front along the main street. Ask for a room closer to the beach side of the hotel...

Pro: Good location convenient to inlet, boardwalk, restaurants, downtown. Indoor pool tiny but pleasant. Roof deck looks nice but since it is closed for season, unable to judge pool/hot tub. Entrance to Subway shop from lobby convenient.

Con: Bed bug infestation in one of three rooms we occupied pretty much derailed our mini-vacation. Occupants of that room moved to another floor but since the rest of our rooms adjoined that one, we all had to take precautions to avoid bringing bedbugs home. Hotel offered no financial consideration for inconvenience or damage to belongings & at least one staff member acted annoyed.
Every plumbing fixture in our suite had leakage, drainage, or nonstop dripping/running issues. Only one problem corrected over our 5-day stay.
Carpeting so dirty that socks & bare feet turned black after contact. Overall cleanliness showed poor housekeeping. Impossible to tell if bed linens were clean or previously used.
Some staff members very helpful; others acted annoyed if approached. Parking free for one car per room but it is in off-site lot.
No ice machines. Plastic ice tray provided but fridge disconnected between guests, so it takes hours to reach freezing temp. Ice sold at front desk for $8.00/bag but you must supply your own container.
Free breakfast is exactly what website advertises-- small packaged muffins & juice.
Hotel-provided courtesy items reflect overall attitude of this operation. For a five-day stay in a suite that sleeps six, we received a tiny bottle of what appeared to be lemon dish liquid but was marked shampoo, and a sample sized bar of soap. And that was all.

Will not stay there again & do not recommend unless you place low cost above comfort and insect attack.

The review of this hotel is extremely not true. We would ask read the review posted just below this one from one of the guest in this same party. We did not have bed bugs and certainly do not charge $8.00 for a bag of ice. There are always areas of improvement and we like hearing feedback on how we can improve upon our establishment. However when false accusations are being said about Hotel , we are going to respond accordingly.

We booked (3) rooms that held 5+ people each. They put us side by side which was really nice since we had kids in each room that wanted to hang out. Day staff could have been more friendly when asked for suggestions. We got the feeling they were being bothered,Night staff were better.Loved the bus stop was right outside the door. Room was clean and acceptable as I expected. Indoor pool is small but clean, they could have supplied towels but we brought our own. Overall all 12 of us had a great time and would stay again.
