My boyfriend and I did a romantic weekend getaway in August 2003. The Robert Morris was exactly what we were looking for to get away from the city. Robert Morris is situated on the water close to the ferry, with a view overlooking the river. Our room was decorated in the colonial style, and was comfortable, clean and elegant. The best part was dinner at the Inn-the best seafood we have experienced anywhere (and we've been around the world)! James Michener knew what he was talking about when he recommended the crab cakes. Also wonderful was use of the Sandaway Inn, a half block away on the water. We relaxed all afternoon in the adirondack chairs, sharing a bottle of wine and watching the boats go by. Take the ferry to Saint Michael's if you want to stroll a lovely small town with great restaurants and shops.
