This bay restaurant in Oxford used to be called Pier Street Marina. We have been going there almost once a year since we moved to Maryland 15 years ago. It is a long drive for us, but worth visiting the area to have crabs at their best, right on the bay with the sun setting. After the big storm that washed through this restaurant years ago, it was rebuilt and renamed The Masthead. It wasn't the same as Pier Street Marina, but still worth a stop for us when we were in the area. Well, Hurricane Sandy washed most of the docks away and must have taken the remnants of good dining with it. We were so disappointed with the food and the service that we almost walked out. The crabs were watery and small, and the waitress, #94, was more interested in talking to her friends than waiting on us. Sadly, this place will be crossed off our list for future visits.
