Was there again this May 2014 to give my 89 yr.old Mom a birthday treat after lunch. They treated her like a queen and of course the ice cream is to die for !!! Go there any time I'm on the shore.

We strolled over to Scottish Highland Creamery following dinner at Robert Morris Inn. The walk along The Strand was enchanting, and we took our time enjoying the view, the yards, the trees, and dreaming about living here in idyllic Oxford, MD.
At Scottish Highland Creamery, we were treated to the perfect homemade ice cream, with a large selection of hard pack ice cream. We sat outside to enjoy our treats. It's easy to see why this Creamery is so highly rated!

This place is such treat. Completely worth drive. All flavors are hand-made daily. You can "like" them on FB to get the daily list of flavors. They have samples and encourage you try them all. If you get a fruity flavor, the chunks of fruit are huge and sweet. This place will not disappoint!! Also, you can sit on the docks after you order or walk down to the water and sit on the rocks. Be sure to hit the ATM, they only take cash!!

The scoop shop is only in Oxford. It is worth driving all the way to Oxford to stand in line, order your ice cream from the daily list of what is available, and sit on the dock enjoying the view while eating the richest, most delicious ice cream in Talbot County. You can buy pints and quarts in certain locations in the County (Town and Country Liquors, Country Store), but to get the entire range of flavors and to lick it from a cone, it is worth the trip to Oxford. Once you try it, you won't eat any other brand. It is addicting!
