Went to the Concordia Club for lunch with my elderly mother, an aunt and sister. There was ample verandah seating which would have been quite pleasant, but we decided to sit inside the club. The room has plenty of light and nice lace curtains give it a homely feel.
The meals are authentic German/Austrian fare; generous and tasty. The pork knuckle is a large, filling meal (and the serving staff will help you take home any leftovers). Schnitzels and sausages are usually accompanied by mashed potatoes and sauerkraut. Make sure you leave room for desert.
The club can cater for large groups and I would advise booking a table or tables. The club is very child friendly and family focused.
October Fest is not for the feint hearted, with plenty of beer and oompah music, and much noisier than the usual weekends.
