Outstanding service, from Terry to each of the other employees with whom we came in contact; Outstanding room (Foreward in the Annex) - tastefully decorated, extremely comfortable - from the bed, linens, leather chairs, and outside deck: Outstanding food - both at the breakfast buffet each morning AND at the OP Restaurant. I had the lamb chops (perfectly prepared) and a cup of the Maryland Crab (awesome flavor) and the raspberry compote/cheesecake for dessert; We were greeted with some beautiful cut hydrangea on our table for our anniversary and provided with an after-dinner champagne as well. Very nice touch! Outstanding and well-maintained grounds and marina - simply beautiful!

Rock Hall has some excellent dining choices as well (Harbor Shack's "Memphis Monday" was awesome and Waterman's Crab House was good also) however.....if you don't have a boat or water activities planned - there is nothing to do here in Rock Hall. A short drive through Eastern Neck Island was nice but did not require much time - same with the beautiful auto tour at Chesapeake Farms. What's NOT welcoming about Rock Hall (and the surrounding areas) is the fact that restaurants have "odd" hours - many aren't open Mon-Wed, or some mix of those days and if you want to grab some ice cream from Durding's, you better have it BEFORE dinner because they close at 7 on weeknights.

Overall, we were able to spend much of our time relaxing, reading, napping, and creating our own little auto excursion tours. (The 3 days we stayed here were rain-filled and overcast - no sun until we were packing to leave).

Room Tip: Only negative comment about our room is extremely "picky" - the A/C is really loud when it...

Lovely surprise. Great breakfast buffet. Our room at the Annex seemed to have been redone recently. Elegant, clean decor. Comfy four-poster king size bed. Roomy bathroom with all amenities and fluffy white towels. Wifi, Samsung flatscreen, cable. Complimentary use of bike to ride around town or to main building and pool. Short walk to beach. Gt
Great view from rocking chairs on our balcony.

Room Tip: We stayed on Midships in the Annex. Fantastic room and view. Cons: can be a bit noisy during the day...

My husband and I just returned from the most wonderful get away at Osprey Point. Everything was perfect. The grounds are well maintained with beautiful landscaping. The pool was immaculate and very enjoyable . Our room was wonderful premium furnishings and linens. The restaurant was one of the nicest we have been to. The crab cake entree was not only delicious but beautifully presented. The chef came out to personally make sure everything was fine . The cream brûlée was perfectly scrumptious . The breakfasts were freshly made, fresh fruits, scones and pastries egg casseroles all delicious and served in a relaxing setting. While the physical qualities of this inn and marina were fabulous the staff were so friendly and helpful. Terry the inn keeper is a doll and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. No need to research any further, the Osprey Point Inn is my favorite getaway location. Thank you to the entire staff!

My wife and I have stayed at the Inn at Osprey Point many times over the past five years and we keep coming back not just because the Inn itself is charming and comfortable, but because the staff is among the best you'll find anywhere. Greta, Terry and all the folks here are super friendly and accommodating and always go out of their way to make sure we enjoy our stay. The rooms are all unique and possess a tasteful Chesapeake Bay decor. What makes this place even better is the incredible gourmet restaurant on the first floor of the Inn. The chef is creative adjusting his menu seasonally to offer the best of the bay and his Crab Bisque is a "must have". The property itself is truly picturesque overlooking Swan Creek and the Osprey Point Marina with a myriad of gorgeous sailing and power yachts. Whether you stay at the Inn, at the Farmhouse or at the Annex which overlooks the open Chesapeake Bay, you will have a delightfully memorable time here.

The Inn at Osprey Point is a great place. The setting on the Chesapeake is spectacular. The rooms are especially comfortable. The breakfasts are very good. The Inn has a terrific gourmet restaurant for dinner. This is also a first class marina. The people are just wonderful and endlessly trying to be helpful. This is a wonderful place for a relaxing weekend in beautiful surroundings.

We celebrated our anniversary with a night at the Osprey Point after the Rock Hall triathlon and it was lovely.
But 2 caveats:
1) the night before we stayed there was a huge boat rendezvous and party at the facility and it appeared to be a mob scene then - am glad we were not booked that night as it would not have been quiet and relaxing.
2) We are sailors and enjoyed walking the docks and scoping out the boats. If you aren't into boats and are expecting a remote inn with nothing between you and the waterview, it might not be what you are looking for as there is a rather busy marina at the facility (mostly sailboats). On a Sunday night it was quiet, but might not be so quiet on a Fri or Sat with more boaters around.

The Inn is a lovely old structure with bedrooms on the upper levels. The dinner restaurant and breakfast room take up the ground level. Bolero was a lovely room (named after a classic sailing ship) with huge king sized bed, gas fireplace, and 2 chairs in front of the fire. No full sized closet to hang anything (but an armoire for shorter things). Bathroom was quite small. Robes and hair dryer included.

Breakfast was served from 8-10:30 and had a big selection of yummy foods.

One thing I found a little strange was there is no inside common area other than the restaurants. There's a pool and nice chairs by the water outside, but no where to sit and relax other than your room inside. Rain prevented us from using the kayaks to check out the area, but it looked like a great place to go kayaking. Inn also offer bikes and Rock Hall is a great place to bike around.

Terry the innkeeper was very nice and helpful with a few special requests. All in all a lovely get-a-way.

Room Tip: In main inn: Bolero had a water view out front and windows on the wide and back of the Inn building...

Thank you for your review. Just so you know for a future visit we do offer a small sitting area on the third floor of the main inn for guests who would like to spend time outside of their room.

Usually our marina is not loud. This particular weekend was one of only a few busy weekends during the year for the marina. We hosted a 180 person boating rendezvous that brought in 60 transient sailboats for the weekend.

We're glad you enjoyed breakfast and your stay with us!!

We stayed at the Inn (not the Annex) during the weekend of June 1st. It is right on the dock. There was a private boating event going on that weekend and, as the previous reviewer noted, that meant a bit more noise than expected. Other than that (which proved a minor annoyance), we had a very pleasant stay. Our room was clean, sizable and had great AC (important, as the weekend was quite warm). The bed was extremely comfortable and the front desk staff was very accommodating. (While the front desk is not staffed after business hours, we were encouraged to call the front desk manager with any issues we might have--and were assured that she would come and take care of it.) The breakfast was very good. All in all, as represented.
