Stayed for two nights on Tilghman Island on a week long vacation through the Delmarva peninsula. I wished we had only stayed for 1 night. The views of the Bay are beautiful and it is nice to just sit and relax, but there isn't much else to do on Tilghman, unless you are into fishing. There are I think about 3 restaurants on the Island, a general store and a number of marinas. The southern end has a large open area right on the bay, so you can park and just look. We tried to hike on the Black Walnut State Park, but the trail was overgrown with grasses, and there were lots of mosquitoes and poison ivy on the path. Again, absolutely beautiful location, but limited activities.
