“Very relaxing getaway for our 20th anniversary!”
Reviewed 19 April 2009

We were looking for a quiet get-away for our 20th Anniversary. This was perfect. We stayed in the Chesapeake Room. Guests in this room can have breakfast delivered to their room. We did and thoroughly enjoyed it. We walked through the residential part of town to the Shores restuarant for our Anniversary dinner. It was extremely nice watching the sunset over the water.

The Old Brick Inn is situated right in downtown St Michaels. It was an easy walk to everything we wanted to do. The staff was extremely helpful in getting us settled, making reservations for us, and telling us about things to do. The breakfast had a lot of variety including eggs, french toast, yogurt, fruit, muffins, and more.

We highly recommend the Old Brick Inn for anybody staying in St Michaels. It is an excellent property, centrally located, with spacious rooms and an exceptional staff. You can't ask for more.

My husband and I needed to get away for a few days. We chose the Old Brick Inn in St Michael's. We are so glad we did. The breakfasts were among the best we've ever had at a B&B. An extra treat in the Chesapeak Suite is a breakfast delivered to you.
Brin and Robert are excellent hosts. You will not regret staying here.

We just returned from our annual Spring weekend at the Old Brick Inn. Bryn and Robert warmly greeted us and Melissa produced fantastic breakfasts (her scones are particularly wonderful). Weekends in April are a good time to go to St Michaels as the restaurants are all open (including two seafood places on the marina), live music at two cafes/pubs on Talbot Street, and there are no crowds. You can also park your car for you stay as there is plenty to do and see in the town (the maritime museum, winery, boat trips on the river). Plus its less than two hours from Washington, DC. My husband & I just got back from our "babymoon" to St. Michaels. We stayed in the Lady Guinevere suite at the Old Brick Inn. We did two nights... Friday to Sunday. We arrived after the front desk had closed, but they arranged to have our room key available for us. The room was fantastic and was exactly as described on their website. The bed was sooooooooooo comfortable and the linens were so luxurious. We opted for this room, over another suite since the Lady G has a two-person shower. I am pregnant, so I cannot use the jacuzzi tub offered in most rooms.

Breakfast was delicious. Served from 9 to 10:30 am on weekends. There was a wide variety of foods... eggs, potatoes, meat (ham one day & sausage the next), a DIVINE french toast concoction on Saturday made with rasberry jam & cream cheese, and a fresh fruit cup and pastries. Of course, coffee and OJ, as well. They have coffe starting at 8 AM, but also have Flavia coffee available 24/7, as well as bottled water and ice. In the afternoon, they put out snacks, but we weren't aroudn to take advantage.

The courtyard has a pool and hot tub. The pool was closed since its still winter and I can't use the hot tub, but they both looked nice. They had a few tables & chairs set up out there to enjoy the nice weather we had this past weekend!

The location was perfect... right on the main street of St Michaels and walking distance to fabulous shops & restaurants & a couple pubs. I recommend St Michael's Bistro for a fancy dinner out and Ava's pizzeria for a more casual meal. Ava's has more than just pizza, which was delicious.

While you are in St Michaels, definitely check out the Chesapeake Maritime Museum, St Michaels Winery and the newly opened Eastern Shore Brewing Co!
