Great coffee, good selection, and fresh muffins. A perfect breakfast stop after running some morning errands whils vacationing at St. Michael's.

“Mediocre and overpriced”
Reviewed 18 August 2013

We love trying new coffee shops in our travels but will NOT be stopping at Blue Crab Coffee Co. the next time we visit St. Michaels. The cashier didn't know whether they had a very common flavor syrup. The chai was good but started out costing $4.60 for a 16 ounce drink, already on the high end. The latte was mediocre at best. Even worse, the surcharge for soy milk is $1 PER DRINK, which I didn't see posted on their crowded menu board. This meant that the chai bumped up to $5.60 for 16 ounces of soy milk and chai. Come on--I can find a half gallon of soy milk for $3.00 at a retail grocery store. The barista didn't call out drinks, either, making it difficult to know when the drinks were up. This cafe was just incredibly overpriced, making it seem they just wanted to gouge unsuspecting visitors to town.

“Awesome local spot”
Reviewed 16 August 2013

We stopped in here as we were leaving St, Michaels. Everyone was friendly and the food and coffee were very good. It was pretty crowded and everyone seemed to know each other so we assume it must be a local hot spot.

“Okay but nothing special”
Reviewed 12 August 2013

Coffee was high quality, and nice room to relax in casually. But $5 for an egg sandwich on bagel is most I've ever paid! It is St Michaels but still.... It was tasty! $1 for an empty cup for water? Overall, average experience.

I'm glad you enjoyed our high quality coffee & tasty farm fresh egg sandwiches in the Historic Freedoms Friend Lodge. We are always glad to provide tap water to our customers in glassware or small plastic cups at no charge but we do have a service charge for the large plastic cups with lids. I apologize if there was some confusion about the cup charge. Thanks for visiting Blue Crab Coffee Co.

“Hidden away in St. Michaels”
Reviewed 7 July 2013

There is a nice selection of coffees and cold drinks. The lattes were similar to Starbucks. An iced tea fruit drink was very refreshing.
