We stopped at Sam's Pizza for carry out twice this past weekend while looking for an easy meal to take back to our hotel room. We were very pleased with the food and service at Sam's. It was a typical independent Greek/pizza/sub kind of place that you often see. We had salads, gyros and subs and they were all good. They were helpful about the toppings and packaged well for carry out. If i happened to be in that area again I might stop there for a casual lunch.

It depends on the dish what you'll get.. I'd stick with the specials or basic dishes if you plan on getting a good meal. Ordered the tuna steak and it was about as juicy as a bowl of sawdust. Heard that the pizza is good, but don't have a clue. Maybe there was a reason they had to leave Ridgely.. Might possibly try again sometime..

We stopped on the way to downtown St. Michael's. The pizza that we had at Sam's was one of the best pizzas I have ever ordered. The venue is very clean, the service is excellent and the location is good. If in the St. Michael's area, this is the pizza place to go.

We were headed to St. Michael's for the day and our B&B recommended Sam's for a casual and inexpensive lunch. We didn't want to eat rich (and expensive!) food at every meal during our weekend and this was perfect. The Greek Salad and pizza hit the spot. Wish I would have saved room for their yummy looking desserts. Amazingly the place was packed at 2:00 p.m. on a Saturday afternoon . . . I think the locals know where to eat.
