“Relaxing time at the Inn at Perry Cabin”
Reviewed 18 March 2014

Just returned from a 2 night stay at the Inn at Perry Cabin. The service was "First Class" from arrival to departure. As we had snow shortly after our arrival this meant we spent all of our time there which was perfect as the purpose was to get away and just relax. All the staff were polite, attentive and were all keen to ensure we were properly looked after. The one bedroom suite was warm and cosy and had tv, a refridgerator and a well fitted bathroom and combined wardrobe. We ate in the restaurant both evenings and the waiting staff were both accomodating and knowledgable in helping us choosing both the food and wine. We have returned home refreshed and will most certainly coming to the Inn at Perry Cabin again. A great vacation.

Inn at Perry Cabin

Elegant luxury with a gorgeous view. Our room was a large corner room with lots of windows and a lovely view of the back lawn and water. The bath room was a bit small but otherwise very nice.

The dinning room has a large fireplace and a wall of windows with a view of the lawn and water. The main dinning room is gourmet with excellent service. One can also dine in a small bar area with an adjacent sitting room with another wood burning fireplace. It is a cozy place for a cocktail, glass of wine, snack or just reading a book. There is also a separate library for reading.

The inn is comprised of several buildings so one has to go outside to get to the exercise room and pool area. There is ample self parking. The common areas and our room were very clean and well maintained with lots of flowers adorning the common areas.

Was there two days ago with my parents and Miniature Schnauzer. I stayed at their featured Master Waterview Suite. What a charming, sophisticated, unpretentious experience. Only three hours away from New York City at the quaint town of St Michaels, Maryland. Ideal for a family reunion, romantic getaway and/or wedding. Must visit.!! Carlos Melia @ carlosmeliablog.com

This was my second visit to the Inn at Perry Cabin (first visit was maybe 6 years ago?) and what a wonderful property and friendly staff. We stayed in room 49 and what a great room it is with great sunrise views. Funky little town of st. Michaels is walkable but it's tough to leave the property. My wife enjoyed her spa treatment the first day and returned for another the second day! Great job everyone, thanks for the rejuvenation.

Room Tip: Room 49, catch a sunrise from the balcony.

The inn at Perry Cabin is a great weekend getaway. The food and service are amazing. The spa was very nice too my husband and I had massages and we both thought it was well worth it. I don't think that there is much to do in St.michaels do it was very relaxing and the views were beautiful!

Our first visit to The Inn at Perry Cabin was everything we wanted. Right off the bat we were upgraded to a junior suite which was lovely. Bathroom was phenomenal, wonderfully and roomy with hi-end amenities. Food and service at the restaurant Sherwood's was ideal. But what really made the trip was the staff. From the moment you enter everyone is glad to see you. The staff from bellman, to desk clerks to waiters and bartenders…every one we met was helpful and terrifically friendly. It's such a warm and welcoming place, perfect for celebrating our anniversary. Which was noted with a lovely bottle of wine in our room, as well as a complimentary sparkling wine with dinner. Although the hotel was fairly busy, St. Michael's itself is very quiet in early March, which was just what we wanted. It was a pleasure to stroll down the main street and pop in and out of art galleries and boutiques. We look forward to returning.

The title says it all. what mad the service excellent: friendly staff in all directions, from the bellman, to concierge, to the servers and hostess in the restaurants. We were there in a snow storm and when we were set to leave we discovered that our car had been cleared of snow, and windows scraped nearly 100% free of ice. The food is bit overpriced ($40 for a steak) but it was the BEST filet mignon I've ever had. Breakfast was also pricey but we were seated right next to the window overlooking the water and the service was fantastic...never once had a dry coffee cup, the food was served promptly and all the ingredients were fresh and overall everything we had was very tasty. The best thing of all is that the 2nd night we stayed due to the snow storm, they offered us half off our first night rate. That was above and beyond in my opinion which is what you expect from an inn of this caliber. Some things could have been improved, like removing the broken chain in the claw foot tub...it's safety hazard and I could have cut myself if I had not been careful, re-grouting the tile floor in the bathroom since it was well beyond time for that to be done and badly stained. The bathroom tile floor was heated so that was a nice plus. The only thing I'd like is that small items be available in the main inn like lotions and other specialty items for purchase so guests don't have to go to the spa to shop.

Room Tip: make sure you get a room with a fireplace and soaking tub.
