This hotel is very busy, privately owned .The checkin was the best part of the stay. That night the lobby was a local gathering place for the frontdesk clerk's friends. Room 107 was our room for the night. The shower leaked drip...drip...drip.. all night. The AC thermostat was broken, knob stripped and smelled horrible. The front desk clerk was polite but stated that the owner/ manager would be available in the morning for me to speak with about our room. she stated that they are always full with airline employees and had no way to rectify my room issues during our nights stay. No one attempted to fix our issues during our stay. The owner/manager berated my attempt to explain our room discomfort last night. He told my wife that he was happy that we were leaving his hotel soon. He confronted my wife in a very loud angry voice demanding that she flip back the door lock that was holding the door open while we were removing our luggage from the dripping smelling hot room. He pushed himself into our room trying to minimze the room's deficiencies. He stated that the room was warm because we had the door ajar letting out all his cold air. He stated that we had caused the leaking shower from over use. At this point of hostility towards us was now too far out of line. Microtel stated that they can only forward comments to the indivdual owners. I have worked in Disney's hotel & this is a prime example of what not to do to a guest. Save yourself the hassle & stay where they want your business.
