My husband, my three children and I stayed at this hotel recently. We were quite impressed by the cleanliness of the rooms and the lobby. The beds were great and we had a wonderful sleep. There were plenty of towels and everything was fresh. I don't know if all the rooms are nonsmoking but I was pleasantly surprised when our room was. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay.

This was the first time that I stayed at a hotel where "the customer was not always right." The owner was more concerned about making sure that he had my money another night (because I wanted to check out early) than making sure that my stay was comfortable. The night manager told me that it would be okay to check out a day early due to a change in flight plans, as the hotel was far from booked. The owner later lied through his teeth and said that he had to turn away customers who wanted my itty-bitty room, therefore claiming that I should pay for a night extra for checking out a day early. Nowhere did he thank me for my business - he acted like he did me a favor - when I was the one giving him my business, my patronage. I have never experienced that from any hotel before, and it turned me off from the place altogether. The rooms were clean but in need of repairs, the breakfast (if you call it that) was meager (the Hampton Inn nearby is the best at breakfast) - continental at its pure definition - a few bagels and a muffin, coffee, OJ. Other area hotels give eggs, sausage and better-tasting coffee. Try those first.

I've stayed with alot of Microtel Inns over the past few years because they are affordable properties. I can't believe how nice this one was. The cute lady at the desk said they had just renovated in Jan. This hotel like most Microtels had very efficiently laid out rooms and a modest breakfast offering. Very nice hotel for people just passing through although the lady did offer to upgrade my room to a suite for 15 dollars more.
