We love going to the Pearl. Homey atmosphere and great simple food. Love the pier side view and
relaxed, clean and pleasant ambiance. Love the fish tacos.

I've eaten here twice. The first time I ordered the Fish Tacos, my husband ordered the Roast Beef Wrap.

Fish Tacos ($12.99) - fish cooked perfectly, but they weren't tacos, it was a wrap. The "tangy cilantra mango sauce" was less than tangy or tasty. Very bland.

Roast Beef Wrap ($8.99) - maybe one slice of roast beef on this. Again bland. The fries that you can upgrade to for the sandwiches were decent ($.99). None of the sandwiches comes with a pickle (bag of chips is standard).

Try #2

Solo trip and I ordered the Traditional Caesar salad with backened shrimp ($9.99) and a cup of seafood chowder ($4.99). The salad had romaine lettuce and a good amount of shaved parm, the shrimp came on a skewer (I think there were 5 medium shrimp). The ceaser dressing was a far cry from real caesar dressing (watery with no taste).

The seafood chowder had a good amount of seafood and potatoes, a slight hint of the sherry as it is advertised (would be better with a little more), but again very bland with no taste.

The only advantage to this new restaraunt is it's location at the marina if you're really hungry and don't want to order a pizza or drive to the Island. Other than than, I wish Cheryl was still operating the place as her food was excellent. The outdoor seating has been changed and is not a "relaxed waterfront ambiance" as advertized and the decor is ridiculous. Oh well....

Only been there once, but the fish tacos were excellent! And a good view of Solomon's harbor. Not expensive - great value.
