“They Thought of Everything”

All the little things you wish other hotels had are already there for your use in an idyllic setting. Bring your own wine, because the wine glasses and rocking chair porch are waiting, along with a totally shaded grotto with comfortable chairs, wisteria-covered breezeway and healthy good food for breakfast. Bring your bikes and Richard will lock them in the shed at night, and Helen will make your dinner reservations at choice resaurants for you ahead of time. Don't forget to get tickets around 10:30-11 am for the 2pm Wm B. Tenneyson boat ride at the museum for only $7. Walk to everthing. Great views, very neat and clean. If they don't have it, you don't need it!

Thank you so much for the kind words. It was our pleasure to have you stay at our inn and hope to see you again. Have a wonderful summer and check out our "Hump Day Special", if you need another getaway...

We just returned home from a beautiful weekend in Solomons Island, MD. We stayed 3 nights at Solomons Victorian Inn. Peaceful, quiet, beautiful. Our room, as well as the entire Inn is very clean and welcoming. The innkeepers, Helen and Richard are wonderful cooks. Great views from the Inn of the water. It is within walking distance of downtown.

Just spend a lovely Mothers Day weekend at the Solomons Victorian Inn. Our hosts, Helen and Richard have created a lovely environment within walking distance of everything on the island. Lush gardens and water views add to the pleasure of their property. A first rate breakfast, as well. Better still, the "World Famous Tiki Bar" is just down the street. Highly recommended.

Nice room, great view, tasty breakfast and friendly staff--and you're within walking distance of just about everything on Solomons. What's not to love? My wife and I stayed two nights in the Manitou Room, which overlooks the waterfront (literally a stone's throw away). It's not the biggest room at the inn, but it was fine.

If you're looking for a pleasant place to stay on the Island, I'd consider the Solomons Victorian Inn.

We have stayed, literally, at dozens of Inns/Bed and Breakfasts throughout the U.S. and Canada. This has to rank as one of the 5 best. The location is wonderful!! Park your car and walk to all sorts of places, while others fight for a parking space. Very pleasant hosts and extremely clean rooms. The breakfast is served on an enclosed porch with a view of the harbor and the food was great. You will enjoy staying here!!

We stayed in the Solomons Sunset room and have already made reservations to return for our anniversary. It was very spacious, had a comfortable bed, and a galley kitchen w/ table. The bathroom had a wonderful strong steam shower. That room is a hidden gem. Great views from the windows. Lots of restaurants with in walking distance. Helen and Richard were very accommodating to dietary needs and breakfast was delicious. The fireplace is nice to have for colder and/or rainy days but it did not give off any heat (nice to look at). The house is quiet, relaxing, and beautifully kept. Can't wait to return!

My husband and I really love Solomons Victorian Inn. We first stayed here in 2011 for our 30th wedding anniversary. One month later and we were back to celebrate my husband's birthday. During this time, I was also in the midst of my first battle with cancer; everything is so clean that I didn't worry about germs. Both times we stayed in the beautiful Chesapeake Sunset Suite with a view of the harbor.

We just returned from celebrating our 32nd wedding anniversary, this time choosing to stay in the beautiful and cozy Orithia Room. This room has an even better view of the harbor; what a beautiful view to wake up to! Before we left to return home, we had already made reservations to come back for another weekend.

The owners are sweet, friendly (and certainly not intrusive) people who want their guests to be comfortable and enjoy their stay at their B&B as well as Solomons Island. This is just one of the reasons we love Solomons Victorian Inn. As I am fighting cancer again, we know we can trust in the cleanliness of the entire place.

Other reasons to love Solomons Victorian Inn:
It's beautiful, quiet and peaceful; it's on Solomons Island; the breakfast is delicious (I am gluten-free and can completely trust that my meal is safe). Lots more I'm just not remembering right now!
