As Kent Island locals we have been frequenting Ledo's since it opened - but that is history now. The last time we went, we ordered two pasta dishes, a salad and a sandwich, all standard, nothing out of the ordinary. 45 minutes later, patrons who had arrived at the same time were wrapping up doggy bags, later customers were happily finishing their meals - ours was nowhere to be found. We inquired several times with the waitress, who got extremely huffy pointing out that she was busy, the place was busy and what the probem was, anyway! Told us it would be out in 2 minutes (after one hour wait). 15 minutes later, still nothing, she is visiting with other patrons, and ingoring us. We asked to speak to the manager, who - to top it all off! - suggested it was really our fault, because "we ordered the wrong thing" - laughable, since Ledo's menu is rather limited and does not require a lot of prep time! and what exactly is "the wrong thing?" When we were finally served, the portions were miniscule, hardly warm, undercooked, and the sandwich meat barely stretched over some of the bread (suppedly "piled!") - it was pitiful and obviously meant to finish off the evening in the same unpleasant confrontational spirit, I can understand that an order gets lost, I can understand that things fall through the cracks, but what I don't understand is the abominable attitude that followed! "Customer" appeared to be a foreign concept. Well, these four customers are gone!
