I've just returned from a stay at Ashley Manor. First of all, May is such a gorgeous time of year to visit Barnstable and the Ashley Manor. The daffodils and azalea are all in bloom and it's just so beautiful here. I even got a chance to see the resident wild turkey take a stroll through the back yard!

I love all the common area at the Ashley Manor. The wooden floors in the library and living room just shine! They don't miss a beat here - from the fresh flowers to the port offered to guests, Vince and Pat take great care of their guests from the moment you enter.

Breakfast was a work of art. The fresh fruit skewers were so pretty I didn't want to eat them! And the blueberry muffin top was scrumptuous.

I've been here twice and both times I've been so impressed. I'd totally recommend the Ashley Manor for romantic getaways and escapes.

Room Tip: There's even a tennis court here, so bring your racket (they also have them to borrow too!).

We went to the Inn for our 25th wedding anniversary. Everything was perfect. They supplied us with champagne flutes and an ice bucket. It was quiet and didn't hear others once we retired for the night. Comfortable bed and loved having the fire place.

This review is long overdue. We have stayed here twice, May of 2007 and Sept of 2008. The house is quaint and well kept and, most important to me, quite. The first time we visited we took our oldest son and his wife with us for a week. We stayed in the Canterberry Suite and they in the Phinney's Terrace. As the name implies the Phinney's Terrace has a terrace off it, on the east side of the house's second floor. I quickly found this to be the best place in world to sit and have a beer or glass of wine after and long day of sightseeing before heading out for dinner. Pat and Vince are very friendly and accommodating and always have recommendations for dining, shopping and points of interest. The breakfasts are excellent and chatting with the other guest is a great way to start the day before exploring the Cape. The central Cape location is perfect to base from and explore the area. We are hoping to return to the Cape this fall and sit on the terrace sipping wine.

Couldn't wish for more. Pat and Vince are fantastic hosts, very friendly, great conversation and breakfast. The suite was ideal with all the amenities. Beautiful common areas, living room and dining room. Nearby to the art galleries and restaurants on the Cape we like best. Next time we'll bring our tennis rackets. Looking forward to coming back.

Room Tip: Ashley Suite is quiet, at the end of the house. Great jacuzzi tub and fireplace. Private bathroom...

Our stay at Ashley Manor was fabulous! The inn offers charm and privacy, with warm hosts Pat & Vince. They provided wonderful breakfasts, offered special attention, and all the info you could desire for staying in the area. The room was cozy, the jacuzzi was fabulous, the inn was spotless and warm. We will be back!

Room Tip: Perfect spot for couples! The Ashley suite was cozy and private.

Many thanks to Pat and Vince for making us feel welcome! We enjoyed our suite, especially the jacuzzi and fireplace. My wife and I loved the breakfast conversation with you and the other guests. We look forward to visiting again.

Room Tip: We stand in the Ashley suite, which was quiet and spacious.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ashley Manor. We had visited there a few years back and sometimes when one returns to a favorite place, one can be disappointed but not the case here. The special attention given to the bedding, toiletries and other appointments in the room made it quite cozy and lovely. Could have stayed on a few more days. And then there are the breakfasts... This is where home away from home and more comes in. Not only are they delicious but Vince and Pat are the ultimate host and hostess. We got the feeling that there was nothing they wouldn't do for us while visiting the Cape. Most enjoyable and we look forward to returning one day.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Ashley Suite and enjoyed it being a little more private.
