“Fantastic Find”
Reviewed 14 September 2013

Several members of my family and I were traveling to the area and needed a comfortable place to stay. We could not have been more pleased with the Beverly Garden Suites. The rooms are incredibly clean, the beds comfortable and the location was very convenient for us. With the Depot Diner and the Garden City Pub directly across the street, plus a Starbucks, you have everything you need. It seems like a great set-up for a long-term stay, but was also perfect for a 2-night stay. I wish there were more places like this.

Put us in room downstairs. Musty and moldy. Room set up horrible. One sink for kitchen/bathroom!! After just one night we were coughing, etc. We were moved to different room after complaining. Can't believe they charge the rates they do!!!

Looking to go to Salem, MA.- chose to stay nearby. My husband and I were both pleased with this motel. It was by far larger than many- the suite furnishings and kitchenette were all updated, clean and comfortable. Smallish bathroom but certainly manageable and clean. We had a king sized bed- very comfortable. Wifi, a large TV in suite ante room, smaller TV in bedroom provided needed amenities. Did not need frig but it was full-sized and clean. The only negative-- AC window unit in front room and it takes sometime to cool sleeping area BUT there was an effective fan that helped circulate air more quickly. Would definitely stay there again. Good food across the road in strip center (diner and an Italian Restaurant)

We stayed 2 nights in room 12 and it was wonderful. Large livingroom with sleeper sofa, full kitchen with cookware, seperate bedroom with 2 full beds and good size bathroom. We chose to not get the free breakfast as the Depot Diner across the street is our favorite place for breakfast.

The only thing that is keeping me from giving it an excellent rating is there is no air conditioner in the bedroom. The door must be left ajar so that the unit in the livingroom can also cool the bedroom.

Room Tip: We stayed in the basement level 2 years ago and the few extra dollars to be above ground is well wor...

I'm a bit of a hotel snob, and I will tell you, you won't regret staying at Beverly Garden Suites. It doesn't look like much from the outside (though their flowers along the front are beautiful). But inside you'll find fresh and upscale décor, full-sized fridge, microwave and full-sized oven-range in kitchen (for the upstairs suite rooms), separate bedroom, living room with sofa and chair and bistro set, 2 flat-screen TVs. Carpet seems newly installed, kitchen and bathroom have ceramic tile floors, bathroom sink is solid surface.

VERY CLEAN! This is very important to me, and I was not disappointed (I've been here twice). We've stayed on the second floor both times and were quite pleased with the comfort-level of our room.

Staff is very friendly and accommodating. We've tried 3 of the restaurants across the street and loved them all!

My husband and I stayed at the Beverly Garden Suites for 4 nights while touring Boston. We found this a more economical motel than any accommodations we could find in Boston. The one bedroom suite we stayed in included a full kitchen. All dishes and utensils were supplied. The rooms were modern and very clean. The general condition of the property shows it is well maintained. The commuter train station is directly across the street and we were able to purchase a 10-trip ticket for travel into the city, plus a subway pass good for one week from the date first used which allowed us to reach all corners of the metropolitan area. There is a grocery store across the street and a deli/meat shop with with top quality cuts of meat if you are cooking your own meals. There is also a pizza/Italian restaurant in this plaza where we ate one night and found the menu choices and food very good. The area surrounding the motel is mostly residential so we had no concerns when returning late in the evening on the train.

Stayed for one week. Chose Beverly Garden Suites based on reviews read. We Stayed in the 2 bedroom suite since we were in town for a family wedding. You couldn't pick a cleaner place. The beds were very comfortable - I usually don't sleep so well away from home. Convenient to the train line making a trip into Boston super easy. Visiting Salem, going on a Whale watch tour and other site seeing made easy by choosing to stay in Beverly. Bonus was that the wedding reception was only 2 miles away. The Depot Diner has great food - I wish I had discovered it sooner. They are only open for breakfast and lunch. The pub behind had great food also. Stop & Shop, McDonalds, Starbucks and a yogurt place in close walking distance. On staff recommendation we went to a great lobster boil at Woodman's of Essex

Room Tip: My sister didn't think to request a downstairs room for herself. Important to note if you have...
