Sweetwater Forest Campground
Certificate of Excellence

This was our second year at Sweetwater Forest. The staff (especially Brian) are incredibly nice and helpful. Brian came to our camper twice to check out two separate mechanical issues and replace parts. Our trip would have been ruined if not for him. The sites are large and shady. Bathrooms and showers are very clean. Super family-oriented and safe, not a "party" atmosphere. Conveniently located near all Cape attractions. If you're looking for a great spot to camp with your family, this is the place!

We're seasonal campers. We look forward tranquility that is the peace and quiet of Sweetwater Forest all through the off-season. The sites are large and wooded to afford the privacy we treasure. There's a stone fire ring on each site so we can sit outside and enjoy telling stories around the campfire.

The staff is professional and courteous. They maintain the grounds at a very high level. The camp store is well stocked with all your camping needs at reasonable prices.

There's lots for families to do...miniature golf, basketball, hayrides, a lake or just walks or bike rides...including a link to the Cape's famous Rail Trail. Sweetwater Farms, a working horse farm is on the grounds.

We recommend Sweetwater to anyone who values a family friendly campground, whether it's for a night or seasonally.

We have been going to Sweetwater Forest Campground a couple of times a year for several years now. We mostly go in the spring and fall for long weekends and have never been disappointed. We have a pop-up so we try to get one of the sites in the back of the campground for smaller campers over looking the pond. The sites are private, wooded, and spacious, with a stone dug out fire ring.
The owner's and staff are always more than friendly, and are ready to assist you at your site, and willing to give local site seeing advice and directions. The park is very clean and well maintained, the camp store is also well stocked with competitive prices. All around this is awesome campground that is close to everything the Cape has to offer, but when you get back to your site, makes you feel you are a million miles away. I strongly recommend this campground.

I found Sweetwater tons of years ago when our Girl Scout Troop wanted to camp on the Cape. They also wanted to bike, and Sweetwater was right off the bike path. The girls were able to bike in from Dennis to Brewster. They also rode from Brewster to the National Seashore. This was a nice point being midcape. We did this for alot of years, and now my daughters are all grown. My husband and I bought an Travel Trailer and we still got here. It is our favorite spot in lower New England.

The staff is so helpful and the sites are spaced nicely. You have some space between sites. They keep this place so clean and the special events they hold are so much fun. Our favorite is Columbus day weekend, the chili and chowder tasting is great. So many to try!! Our girls have also done the pumkin carving contest too. The kids treat or teart around the campsites, which many of the people decorate. We just love this place and all the staff, they are Cape Cods #1 campground as far as we are concerned!!!!!!

This campground is one of the best on cape cod. Wooded sites with full hook ups. Campground is located close to all the great things the cape has to offer. The staff goes above and beyond to make you stay pleasurable.

We loved the campground. We stayed there in september, for a few days at first, kept extending our stay, and finally left after 3 weeks! We couldn't decide to go home, too much fun, so much to do around there.
There are 4 words that describe this campground, private, quite, friendly, clean. It is a family business, and it shows, they are proud of their accomplishment.
The hilly campground allows privacy, the curvy roads are perfects so nobody can speed up, and they are beautiful to walk on.
After a while we needed a pump out, and this was done on the site, in the afternoon as they said, while we were away.
A very pracital feature is the grey water well, covered with gravel, clean, no smell at all. The showers and restrooms are impecable.
There were lots of birds, and the Cape Cod bicycle trail was 5 minutes away. The campground store had everything you need.
We received nice fishing tips for us, beginners, given by a pro !
We can't wait to go back next year, and this time for at least 3 weeks !

My husband and I went for an overnight in our in new RV. We were really impressed with this place. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It is off season but we loved it, had the place to ourselves. We are definitely going back next year and staying for a lot longer than one night we didn't want to leave. B&D Washington, NH
