We love this campground. Great for a laid back long Memorial Day weekend, nice ride to near by attractions. private and in the woods, reasonably price, Beaches are extremely close. Highly recommended!!

Stayed in RV (water & electric) site G near pond. Nice, level site, felt private and in the woods. Rode our bikes around to see nearly all sites were well thought out, look mostly private and wooded. Not a lot that we wouldn't be happy with. Nice pond and retired cranberry bog allow for a ton of peepers at night and picturesque setting. Lots of playgrounds for the kids to access on their bicycles. Very close to bike path from campground. I especially appreciate that this campground still feels like camping should - without pavement, looking into your neighbor's RV window from yours, some respectable quiet hours and a little privacy.

I've been to other great campsites, but what stands Sweetwater Forest apart is how the staff are always looking to ensure you have a great stay, whether it being ensuring you have a site that suits your exact needs or recommending which attractions would suit you and your family. Highly recommended.

A group of us have been camping at Sweetwater during Memorial Day weekend for quite a while and we love it. Tons of facilities in great locations. Bike trail close by. Beaches are also extremely close. On premise dog kennels that are air conditioned. Excellent camp store. The best part is they are reasonably price. I've paid more on the cape for less. I'll definitely be back. Thanks for the hard work!!!

We stayed here for 5 nights in late September. Keep in mind that my comments are colored by the fact that it was very uncrowded at this time of year. The reservation experience was mixed in that we couldn't complete the reservation online, but had to call...but the person on the phone was very friendly and helpful, and recommended what turned out to be an excellent site. Check in was good, utilities worked as they should, and campsites were of a decent size. The bathrooms/showers were clean; I would be concerned about the number of available showers if camping there when it's crowded. As someone else noted, the location isn't near anything in particular, but is close to lots of things. An entrance to the CCRT is a short ride through the campground & across the road.

If you have dogs, the onsite kennel is a big bonus. The accommodations are nothing fancy, but they're clean, and our dogs were very comfortable with the people there.

One potential area for improvement is marking of the roads/campsite locations. On the first night we spent quite a while wandering the campground after taking a wrong turn on the way back from the bathrooms.

It's a convenient place to stay while visiting Cape Cod and is nicely wooded. Most sites are well separated. In areas where there were a lot of tenters the restroom facilities were overcrowded. The Wifi available only in the vicinity of the office worked well.

The Sweetwater Campground is centrally located in the upscale Brewster/Orleans area. While it is not close to anything in particular, it is also not too far from beaches, and other attractions. A short car ride (12 minutes or so) will get you to the ocean beaches in Orleans. A :45 minute or so ride will get you to Provincenton to the NE and :45 minutes in the other direction will get you to the ferries in Falmouth for a trip to the Vineyard. The cloasest large market is about a :10 minute ride down Rt 137.

As for the camp itself, here are my impressions:

Pro's:
- Wooded sites that are well spaced that provide campers with enough privacy and space to spread out
- Lots of sites of varying sizes to accommodate both large and small groups
- Sites are generally clean and flat
- There are canoe rentals on a small pond in the corner of the camp
- As mentioned above, the location is good

Con's
- Bathrooms could use an upgrade, especially the showers. They are a bit dirty and there are just two per building, which means that there is sometimes a wait.
- The sinks in the Men's bathroom are clogged - water backs up fast when running water.
- There is no a shelf or setup to facilitate the washing of dishes.

All in all, Sweetwater is a nice place. More than likely I would come here again. Except for the inconveniences of the showers, it was a good experience.
