My three sons and I stayed here in early March for a youth hockey tournament nearby. After a long drive we were greeted by a quick and friendly front desk staff (Jayde and Renee). We stayed in a condo that was real spacious but the parking was a little bit of a walk but doable. The heat was not on when we arrived inside the condo. It took about a half -hour to get the rooms warm. My sons had a blast in the big indoor pool. Very clean swimming facility. We ate all of our meals at the Mansion. The brunch buffet was a great value and the staff (Kristy and Crystal) were so attentive. They made our dining experience so enjoyable. We are already planning our summer vacation at Ocean Edge. The best stay we have ever had on the Cape.

Room Tip: Ask for a condo near the pool.

This was our second stay at the Villages. We checked In and had a few bumps in the road with our room(wrong number on key, room smelled like smoke) but they promptly resolved the situation and gave us a Bottle of wine and snack gift box to make up for it. One we settled In, we took full advantage of the whole property. The pool is gorgeous.

We ate on the property for breakfast and dinner both days. Bayzo's pub had an excellent menu and wine list. The food was excellent and they were incredibly accommodating to our 16 month old son, including regarding his allergies. The manager and waitstaff at the restaurants made us feel so welcome, we chose not to seek out other restaurants during our stay despite many other options available.

Th front desk were friendly and helpful... And so sweet with our son, he looked forward to saying hi to them each day.

This has become our favorite off season destination on the cape.

Over the past few years I've had the pleasure of staying at the Ocean Edge at least four times. It is a wonderful place. The staff are amazing. They are professional and tend to your every need. The rooms are clean, spacious, and beyond anywhere else you could possibly book at the Cape.

Room Tip: I've stayed in the Mansion and in the Bitteridge villas, both are exceptional

At the frond Desk, Jayde was exceptionally helpful and she went above and beyond to make recommendations and meet our every need. She was top notch compared to some of the others who were (nice) but I would recommend speaking with her if you have a choice.. I had taken a slip on the ice before my arrival and she even brought us to the elevator and took us to the dining room. She is what every front desk receptionist should be like.
The dining manager, Chuck also was friendly and always accommodating.

The housekeeping lady was even nice.

Village parking is a negative as is wifi reception on this property.

We stayed in a one bedroom villa in Briteredge. It was lovely with a big screen TV, daily maid service, and a cute kitchenette to cook in. The condo was well-maintained and modern. The hot water did run out quickly because it only had a 50 gallon water heater. The staff at Oceans Edge was very polite and helpful. They had tons of activities for kids planned all during school vacation week. They had a poolside pizza party, and movies at night for kids with soda and popcorn. The pool was clean and warm. They even had a jacuzzi tub. Bayzo's pub was good, a bit pricey at $5 for a beer. But, they had a kids buffet which was a good idea so kids didn't have to wait to eat. It's a nice resort, and if we didn't have a place in Maine, we'd come back in the summer.

Stayed in a condo at the Villages. The kitchen did not have an oven! Just a microwave. So much for cooking anything for Thanksgiving! Rooms were clean, but bed was very uncomfortable. Every time you moved it sounded like a runaway miners car! No cell phone service and very spotty wifi. Ate dinner at the pub one night and they ran out of fish, bummer because 8 out of our party of 14 ordered fish.

Thank you for writing about your stay over Thanksgiving weekend. We did indeed run out of cod on the evening of Wednesday, November 27, 2013. We more than doubled our dinner covers in Bayzos that evening from the previous year, and the previous years before that. We responded quickly to the table and apologized for the inconvenience, and the group seemed very understanding. We took alternative selections, and our impression was that service went well and the group left happy.

Our villas types are described in full detail on our website. Although some of our villas are equipped with stoves, most of our villas, like the one you stayed in, have kitchenettes, featuring refrigerators, four full stovetop burners, microwaves and dishwashers, which allow guests to prepare simple meals when dining in. We’re sorry if you were planning to use the oven for Thanksgiving and were not able to do so.

We are sorry that we did not meet your expectations in other areas. We hope you will give us another try next time you are visiting Cape Cod. I would encourage you to speak with one of our Reservation Specialists next time, and they can help direct you to a room that suits your needs.
