Michael's Cottages

We've been coming to the Cape every summer for the past 5 years, staying in different places each time. We never really felt like we wanted to go back to the same place twice, until this time. We found Michael's by searching online and coming across their page by chance. It had few reviews on Trip adviser and a modest website. But when we called, we were immediately impressed by the hospitality. Chery stayed on the phone with me answering all my questions and giving a couple of recommendations on how to avoid traffic. When we came, she and Michael greeted us warmly. The room was charming and large. The breakfasts were lovely. We appreciated how every detail had been thought of. There were delicious cookies waiting for us every afternoon. I asked Cheryl for some water to make tea with, and we had a pot of hot water waiting for us every morning and night. It was a lovely experience overall. We'll definitely be back.

We stayed for a week in Cottage #1, it was a great place. Very pleasant, Cheryl was very helpful with suggestions on things to do in the area. The location of the cottage on the property has a lot of privacy with a picnic table and grill in the back. And a very nice screened in porch to sit on.There is a gas fireplace inside which took the chill off on a rainy day. Very convenient location on Route 6A. Would definitely return.

We just had the wonderful good fortune to have chosen Michael's Cottage #4 for a quiet fall escape to the Cape. It was perfect from arrival to departure. We loved: how cordially we were welcomed; the charming setting, decor, appointments; sparkling cleanliness; the very comfortable king bed; especially loved...the gas fireplace, the newspaper on our doorstep, and....the adorable 'ladies on the front lawn' and the sharing of the artist's personal photo album (a MUST SEE)! Thank you Cheryl and Michael for your caring manner and attention to your lovely little cottages!

We recently stayed at Michael's Cottages B&B to celebrate our 50th anniversary. Michael and Cheryl gave us the royal treatment and made our stay very enjoyable.

They went over and beyond to ensure that our time with them was perfect in every way, The room was very comfortable and well appointed, the sitting room was very comfortable and felt like home. The breakfast was great with fresh fruit, wonderful baked goods and good coffee.

We will definitely return. Thank you Michael & Cheryl.

Stayed at Michael's Cottages during the Labor Day weekend. We stayed in the B&B portion of the home and it was just wonderful. The room was immaculate and very well appointed. The sitting room was very inviting and also immaculate with soft music and plenty of reading materials. Michael was very likeable and most helpful. We would certainly return to Michael's and actually are looking forward to it.

After living in Boston for 6 years, my husband and I just made our first trip down to the cape and fell in love! Michaels' Cottages was the perfect place for us to stay with our two young sons. It is on the quiet side of the cape--no tourist traps on route 6A like you find on the south side, and has close access to BEAUTIFUL beaches. We spent the whole day at Paines Creek Beach, part of the Brewster flats, and had an amazing time exploring the warm water and wading for miles out into the bay. The cottage we stayed in at Michaels was charming, fully equipped and immaculate. Most of the facility appears to be newly updated (including flat screen TVs in the little cottages), and Michael himself proved to be the most helpful of hosts in directing us to good places to eat and great things to see (if you have little ones, don't miss the train set extravaganza at Snows Hardware in Orleans). When we head back to the cape again soon, this will definitely be where we stay. It is a real hidden jewel on one of the most beautiful spots on the cape!
