The library has an excellent children's room, equipped with computers, a fish tank, a puppet theater and comfy couches. As an outsider, I felt welcomed on a rainy day.

The Brewster Ladies Library is an excellent resource for my family's pleasure reading as well as my research needs. Cozy corners abound, plenty of computers available, super children's section and developing YA section. Staff is always available to help. Lots of programs available for all ages all year round. We especially like the visiting author talks and the YA games days. Only critique... isn't open enough days/hours!

If you are out seeing the Spring flowers and flowering trees driving down Route 6A make sure you take time to stop at this Gem of a town library. They have exhibits ( saw the iphone photo exhibit) wonderful quiet reading spaces and a very friendly and informative staff.
The staff is excited to tell you all about its history and the additions and attractions .
AND clean bathrooms!

This is a great library and the staff is most helpful. I knew my parents had stayed in Brewster when they honeymooned-over 70 years ago. It was then a sea captain's home that had been converted to an inn. When I told the librarian the name of the house she directed me to a record the library keeps of the historic homes in Brewster. We found the home listed-it is still standing and well loved. What a great experience!
