“A charming wee restaurant”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 June 2014

Stopped for lunch at The Brewster Fish House and what a quaint and lovely place! From the wall decor to the window treatments, the small space exudes care and charm. The waitress was as lovely and genteel as her surroundings. The meal was delicious, beautifully presented, and reasonably priced. What a pleasure to eat at a place that truly cares about the image and service it presents.

“Sadly Forgettable”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 June 2014 credit card Amex Cardmember Review

Good service, limited wine menu and casual decor. Appears to be the only game in town (Brewster) so is popular. All 4 of us had soups which were excellent but the fish main courses were all disappointing and unmemorable. May be sufficient if you have no competition but Cape Code has a lot of great seafood restaurants.
Needs to up its game in the kitchen.

“Fish At It's Best!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 June 2014

The Brewster Fish House has consistenly had fresh fish served in innovative ways. We recently had grilled calamari that was wonderful. In the summer, it is very busy, but you can sit at the bar or sit outside and have a drink. Well worth the wait...

“Always a Treasure.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 June 2014

The Brewster Fish House is our favorite place to eat on Cape Cod. It continues to amaze us, year after year. Their innovative menu changes with seasonal ingredients and never ceases to delight the palette. Owner/Chef Vernon Smith has created a jewel of a restaurant. If you're on the Cape, DO NOT miss this experience.

A few standout dishes were the appetizer of fried calamari and sauerkraut and the scallops served over wakame. Freakin' amazing. We also had monkfish that was outstanding and a most delectable lobster bisque. Our go-to dessert is always the creme brulee here (it's one of the best EVER), but we were tempted into the 3-chocolate extravaganza too!

It's always a treasure and a pleasure for the palette.

They do not take reservations, but it's always worth any wait.
