...I grew up right down the street from Chillingsworth and started dining there as a young child on special occasions, always loving getting dressed up and being allowed to hang with the grown ups. The food as always was perfect, if not better! Our meal this time was in the bistro accompanied by a delightful bottle of Pinot Noir and a bottle of champagne for my parents anniversary, I had the gnocchi app and a mostly vegetarian version of the marsala, my boyfriend had the onion soup and the short rib, Dad had the oysters and the duck and Mom had the crab cake and angel hair lobster dish, not one of us had a complaint. Our waitress Julie was a sweetheart and didn't bat an eye at all of our shenanigans and indecisiveness . We went during restaurant week so we got a three course meal for a great price!!! I would send anyone asking for a good meal in a sophisticated setting to Chillingworth, the only problem is I have fallen in love with the gnocchi and they aren't open year round. Go and you will enjoy!

As it was October the bistro side of the restaurant was relatively uncrowded and some of the service issues that others have complained of were nowhere to be seen. Waiter was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Lobster in cognac cream sauce was nicely prepared and the lobster was cooked perfectly. Pork loin was also nicely prepared. Wine list is extensive but bottles are pricey and wines by the glass are more reasonable.

PThis is a favorite restaurant for us! We visit the Cape every summer & this is always our first evenings meal. This September we started off with 2 amazing appetizers, truffle French fire with aoili sauce & then a artichoke with mushrooms, peas, corn in a buttery white wine sauce. Main courses were outstanding, followed by a delicious chocolate bread pudding. We left very happy & very full!

We had a corporate event for our northeast region 2 nights ago at Chillingsworth and I cannot thank the owners and staff enough for making it an absolutely PERFECT evening! Not only was Pat responsive and diligent (as well as professional), but she was flexible, changing our cocktail hour to the patio at the last minute when the weather turned gorgeous. This dinner had to go off without a hitch because many high level leaders were in attendance. Everyone raved about the food, the ambiance, and the service. I will be dreaming about the truffle mac n cheese for years. Delish! THANK YOU and I will be back!

There is nothing to but positive words for this restaurant. The setting is beautiful and elegant. The food is delicious and the service beyond accommodating. The wine list is extensive and the staff is very knowledgable. The best dessert is the soufflé ~ you need to order it at the beginning of dinner. You will not be disappointed. If you go in the summer make sure you stop in the bar when Kathy is bar-tending! She is old school trained and makes an excellent cocktail. Nitzy and Pat have maintained a high standard of elegance that keep people returning year after year.
