Brewster By The Sea
Ranked #4 of 10 Brewster B&B and Inns
Certificate of Excellence
Reviewed 8 November 2013

My wife and I have stayed at Brewster by the Sea on about 9 or 10 occasions and such is the warmth of welcome, excellence of the breakfasts and comfort and cleanliness of the rooms that we actually plan our annual trip to New England around the availability of the inn.
Don't give up if Brewster by the Sea is unavailable, Donna and Byron, the hosts, have another equally excellent inn just up the street - The Captain Freeman.
If you miss one of these two brilliant inns you've missed Cape Cod.

Room Tip: There's no tip required - all rooms equally delightful

Byron and Donna are gracious hosts of Brewster By the Sea. They care about the people
who are fortunate enough to visit their lovely inn. From the moment we walked in we felt at
home. Our room had a fireplace and was decorated in an artistic manner,it was spacious
and comfortable.
The breakfasts were excellent and were served with flair and enthusiasm. Donna and Byron
enjoy their work and have taken the art of inn keeping to a very high standard.
We'll return to Brewster By the Sea and hope to share this lovely inn with our family next time.

We could not have enjoyed our stay at Brewster by the Sea more! It was our first time to Cape Cod so not really sure about the Inn or the area with just online research. Well, it was fantastic! Donna and Byron (and Harrison) are perfect hosts and we will be back anytime we are lucky enough to get out there.

We really loved our stay at Brewster by the sea. Upon arrival Donna offered us a free upgrade to the Garden room and brought us chocolate truffles :-) The room was spacious with a large four poster bed, fireplace and a bath tub. You can really see that Donna and Byron enjoy their job and doing everything to make their guest enjoy their stay. They serve a lovely and fresh three course breakfast.

Our recent stay at Brewster by the Sea was extraordinary - we loved the property, and we loved the hosts. I spoke with Byron when we were planning our trip - we had a few special needs; Byron immediately recommended the Refugio Suite, and it turned out to be just perfect for us. Donna greeted us on arrival and made sure our accommodations and special needs were all squared away. Breakfast was the very best of our entire trip - presented beautifully, and absolutely delicious. Afternoon snacks were equally tasty - we craved the Blueberry Buckle after we returned home! Byron chatted with us during breakfast, offering recommendations on what to see and do while we were on the Cape. Harrison, Donna and Bryon's Labradoodle, was a special treat for us - we love dogs, and Byron allowed him to visit with us. Harrison clearly enjoys living the B&B life - he was a joy. We so enjoyed our stay - we hope to return for another visit!

We stayed for two nights in August for our honeymoon and I am so glad I decided to stay here. My wife is extremely picky and she adored it. There are so many amazing things about this place it is easier just to list them such as the amazingly tasty breakfasts, selection of posh tea, nice coffee on tap, luxurious rooms, outside jacuzzi, yummy baked biscuits and cookies, top end complimentary bathroom condiments, lovely house and great service. The only proper tea we could find.
The best aspect of the B&B is the owners who bend over backwards to help you and make you feel at home. They have a great map which was better than any others we found and they sat down and helped us plan our our holiday. They gave us a lovely leaving gift pack and I really hope we get a chance to return there or to the sister B&B, Captain Freeman's Inn. Being English I love my cooked breakfasts but their breakfasts were so different and delicious. I may have to make the flight just for that. I also think it's great value for money considering what you get for your money.
We really enjoyed Cape Cod as well and wish we had more time to explore more of the area.
Thanks for a great stay guys and thanks for making us feel so at home. Rupert & Ryan

We spent two days at BBTS in the beautiful Sea Meadow room. Byron and Donna were very welcoming and ensured that our stay was relaxing. The breakfasts were incredible and exceeded our high expectations. We hope to return again!
