What a wonderful beach. Tide goes out for miles which is great for the kids. We even saw a couple dolphins playing off shore. Must see when you are in Brewster

“CHECK YOUR TIDE CLOCK”
Reviewed 21 December 2012

One of the nicest beaches on Cape Cod.If you want to walk the flats go at low tide and walk all the way to Orleans for some onion rings or go at high tide for a swim, delightful either way.

“Don't miss the mudflats!”
Reviewed 20 October 2012

This is one of several access points to the beaches and mudflats of Cape Cod Bay in Brewster. Other good ones include Paine's Creek and Breakwater Beaches. All are reached by dead end roads off of Rt. 6A. There is good walking along the beach from any of these, but for us exploring the Brewster mudflats was the most fun. At low tides, as much as a mile of flats can be exposed for investigation. You never know what you will find - shells, sea glass, snails, clams, crabs, etc. Just keep an eye on the tide because it comes in quickly. And after Labor Day, no parking permits are needed!

“best beach. . . SHHH don't tell”
Reviewed 18 September 2012

Voted one of the best beaches by Yankee magazine ; I am hesitant to give away my favorite beach. The best time to go is in the morning. There's yoga for everyone at 7:45. I love this beautiful beach.
