This was our second stay at the Candleberry Inn, and we loved it both times. Owners Stu and Charlotte are warm and welcoming. They are available for suggestions/directions as desired, but are never intrusive. Breakfasts are amazing each day, with just the right portions sizes. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms immaculate. Beach chairs are available for guests to borrow. We stayed in the Treetops room, and enjoyed the private feeling of this second floor room at the back of the house. The room also has a shared patio, which was nice for relaxing and watching the birds. We felt totally comfortable and pampered at this top-notch B&B, and highly recommend it.

My boyfriend and I researched B&Bs all over the Cape and decided The Candleberry Inn was the perfect place to stay. A historic house built around 1800, the rooms exude the most comforting New England character with wooden floors that endearingly creak underneath your footsteps. Stu and Charlotte are incredibly welcoming and hospitable. They are open to answering any questions you may have about the Cape, and you can borrow beach towels and chairs for the beach! Breakfast is spectacular, homemade and delicious! Our room was so clean! The grounds are beautiful with a home garden in the back and an expansive backyard. I loved every minute of our stay at the Candleberry Inn and cannot wait to return someday soon!

I'll be honest and tell you this wasn't our first choice for a quick getaway in Brewster. The room we wanted at another inn was booked, so we ended up here. Lucky for us! What a welcoming and warm place to stay. That feeling is attributed to the inn itself and it's beautifully landscaped grounds, and also to the innkeepers Charlotte and Stu. Our room was nicely decorated, VERY clean and a true pleasure to go back to after a day out and about. There are nice touches everywhere.... from the chocolates on your arrival, to the always-available-coffee, the afternoon goodies, and plenty of information about the area. The outdoor seating area was so relaxing, we took advantage of it each afternoon. We would definitely pick the Candleberry Inn again for our next outing to Brewster.

Stu and Charlotte are great! They were both kind, warm and full of information about the Cape and things to do! The property is beautiful and a lot of effort has gone into the antique surroundings in the dining room and just inside house itself. Charlotte has an amazing teapot collection! Stu's famous waffles didn't disappoint, they were yummy! We stayed in the garden room with it's own private porch and gigantic jacuzzi tub. Very Charming Place with amazing hospitality.

My husband and I booked a last-minute weekend getaway to the Cape, and angels led us to call the Candleberry Inn. We were so well cared for, and our room exceeded our expectations. The breakfasts were delicious - the best gluten-free waffles, in fact the best waffles, we have ever had. The grounds are beautiful and the location is so convenient. We would stay there again and have already recommended it to our friends and family who are visiting the Brewster area.
Thank you, Stu - you really made our weekend unforgettable!

Stu and his wife run a great place! This the second time that my wife and I have visited the Candleberry Inn. All of the wonderful restful charm that we remembered is still there; the comfortable beds, the beautiful grounds and the polite couple that own this B&B! A sure bet for a great night's sleep, delicious breakfast and quiet. We stayed in the Garden Room- it is the most expensive, but comes with a Jacuzzi and your own porch outside. Completely worth every penny.

We had the lovely experience of enjoying tea in the lovely dining room of the Candleberry Inn which dates back to the 1880's.
The choices of real teas were blends that all sounded good and the pastry tray equally tempting. The owner stopped by to chat with my husband about the Bruins (they were in their playoff season) so he felt at home too. The inn is tastefully restored and we enjoyed thinking of who else may have sat comfortably in this dining room from history(Ben Franklin and his kin?)

Room Tip: We didn't stay overnight but the inn and surrounding grounds looks inviting and gracious.
